THAT’S SO SAD BUT I LIKE THAT TOO, I also like the idea of when Ash is older finally having some kind of confrontation with his father

Weather by accident or he activley looks for him id like for it to happen to!. Perhaps Ash having some harbored bitterness towards the man for leaving him and his mom. Though I have no idea if his dad would be willing to re-connect with his son or give him the cold shoulder like he’s been doing for 10+years now
