Now that they're finally officially broken up lol, what did you 🌟 really 🌟 think about thread Austin and Kaia relationship and age gap??
Whew! Okay, take a seat, because this is going to be a LOT lol.
First of all, I think I've always been very HONEST on my blog about what I thought about the Kaustin relationship and age gap? 😅 I wasn't exactly hiding how I felt lol. Just look through my archives. I've discussed it several times before lol.
My feelings have NOT changed. I never really was a fan of their relationship. In the beginning, I tried to give them a chance and the benefit of the doubt because you know, you WANT your faves to be happy, and at first, Austin DID seem somewhat happy with her, so I was happy for him! (despite my MANY reservations 👀)
But over a short period of time, I started to see some red flags in their relationship, and I just couldn't shake that feeling. Sometimes, you just get a feeling in your gut that you just can't shake. My gut is usually VERY spot on. 😂 I was right about Tomdaya, and I was right about Kaustin.
I didn't appreciate though being gaslit, harassed, and rudely criticized in my inbox by anons for not liking them as a couple, or anons claiming that the ONLY reason why I didn't like him and Kaia together is because I like Austin and I was some jealous fangirl. Please. 🙄 How old do you think I am? I'm not some high school student. I'm a grown woman. I just didn't think that she and Austin were a good match for each other, that's all. 🤷🏾♀️
Contrary to popular belief, I actually don't hate Kaia....I just don't trust women like her, and I haven't trusted her since the JE/Z/Jacdaya days. 😑 I think she's fake and a clout chaser. I've also seen some things about her personality that are a turn off to me. But hate? No. That's a very STRONG word in my book. You have to really be doing something EXTREMELY egregious for me to give that label. I actually kind of feel sorry for the girl, because it's clear her parents didn't raise and protect her or her brother Presley properly growing up. I think they were pushed into modeling and fame at at a VERY young age at Cindy's urging, instead of her just letting her kids be KIDS, and I'm not even really sure it was something that they actually really wanted to do, or just what they were brainwashed into wanting to do at a very young age.
But yea, I've just never really been a fan of hers, and I would have that SAME exact sentiment if she were dating ANY other nice, genuine guy in Hollywood. 🤷🏾♀️
I think I've mentioned this several times before, but since we're doing confessions lol 😅... I NEVER was a fan of their age gap. But I need people to understand that it wasn't the age GAP itself. I know plenty of married couples who are 10, even 15 years apart in age, and that's no problem at all in my book. It was more so that Kaia was 19 and had just turned 20, and Austin was 29 and had just turned 30 when they started dating that didn't really sit well with me.
Granted, I'm sure Kaia wasn't your typical 20 year old either. She's been working since she was like 13, she's traveled the world, she's had to grow up FAST in the modeling industry, she's been dating guys 10 years older than her since she was 17, and she was already owning a home at like age 21. So, no, she wasn't your TYPICAL 20 year old out here. But at the same time, she still wasn't someone that I think Austin should have agreed to date, no matter how pretty she was, and no matter how many things they had in common. Jmho.
At the same time though, they were both consenting ADULTS when they got together (her, 20; him, 30), so there's nothing that I can really do or say when two consenting adults choose to date each other. 🤷🏾♀️ I'm also someone who doesn't really care that much who my faves are dating? I'll have an opinion about it as a fan (of course), but at the end of the day, who someone chooses to date is THEIR business, and I don't know that person as well as they do, so I will always have a limited view, ykwim?
Personally? I think their relationship seemed a lot like a PR arranged thing, but maybe that's just me. 🤷🏾♀️ You never knew how they met, she just all of a sudden pops up in London while he's over there wrapping up the filming MOTA, they never seemed like they even engaged in conversation with each other, they did tons of pap walks, their body language looked awkward and distant with each other even though they supposedly living together? 🥴, they had zero chemistry with each other, and Kaia's career has skyrocketed ever since being linked to him. Yea, that's not sus at all. 👀
But hey, do what you gotta do I guess? 😂
Personally, I always thought Austin could do better, and that's why I never liked them together. Even just personality-wise. I also felt that they were raised way too differently... and didn't even have just certain fundamental values in life in common. 🥴 They also never seemed all that serious to me.
Now that they're officially confirmed as being over (I personally think they broke up months ago), I really HOPE that Austin will use better discernment and judgment in who he dates next time. I've ALWAYS said that he should be with a woman closer to his own age. She doesn't have to be older than him (like Vanessa was), and I'm not even saying he shouldn't date any women in their 20s. I'm just saying that he needs to date women who are at least in his same generation lol. No more Gen Z women, please. 😩 Okay I'll be nice lol 😅......Or, IF he's gonna date Gen Z, let it be a geriatric one lol. They may have way more in common.
I think he's a very sweet and talented guy, but he might need to work on himself, heal, and just focus on his work right now instead of dating. I don't think he should jump back immediately into a relationship in other words. I don't care if he lives the single bachelor life for a while honestly lol. 😅 But he usually prefers serious relationships, so, we'll see how THAT goes lol. 🫣
I just hope that he chooses better next time. Contrary to popular belief, I WANT him to find love! 🥰 I want him to find a GOOD woman (at least in her latter 20s 👀) that he can have a really nice relationship with again. Like, his best friend. 😊 EVERYONE deserves that type of love. I never sensed that with him and Kaia. It all seemed very.... artifical, unfulfilling, and surface level, but what do I know? I can only speak as an outsider looking in.
#REALTALK He hasn't really seemed truly happy in a relationship since the Vanessa breakup. 👀 That's just my personal observation, but it's none of my business..... Just what my gut is telling me.
I look forward to seeing him find a nice, genuine woman in the future.
