Lady Furina, would it be legal to refuse to continue work on a commission for a client if they back out of giving me the full pay of what my work is worth; especially after they had previously agreed on a price?

Cross-Blog Halloween Roleplay Event

Me and @kavzz are partnering up to create a Sumeru-centric halloween event for this October! It will be a Zombie Apocolypse, with lots of fluff, drama, trauma and spookiness!

Come celebrate a season of chills, thrills and giggles with us by mentioning either I (the-most-beloved-colleiflower) or my partner (kavzz) if you would like to join, also feel free to let fellow ask blogs know! There will be more information shared as we develop this idea more and get closer to the date.

To spread the word use the tag "they who are like flesh eating scarabs", "sumeru halloween 2024", "sumeru halloween rp 2024" and similar tags. It would also be appreciated if you or anyone else use other tags so I can add them here. Thank you.

Anyway, hope this sounds like fun to all of you, and I can't wait to start!

Aranara’s everywhere: Kaveh and Collei both have Aranara’s. Kaveh’s is Padisarah, named after the flower. They are slightly more petulant and force Kaveh to actually sleep. Collei’s is named Nilotpala, after the lotus. Hers is also like her child, though especially so, Nilotpala liking hugs, kisses, and jumps up on Collei’s shoulder to get around and when tired she hops into Collei’s sachel.

I’m…not feeling so good today: Kaveh and Collei are both Anemic, and one if the only things that will get Kaveh to eat and sustain himself is Collei’s cooking, especially Pita Pockets.

But…I need to help: Collei is a people pleaser, Kaveh is a Empath.

Nice job, as always, helper: Collei’s eventual job is a botonist but most of the time instead of purely working on plants she helps Kaveh with designs since they both sketch and she specializes in plants and flowers. Collei also gets an addition on Tighnari’s greenhouse for her own work.

One for you, one for me: Kaveh sews little patches once Collei joins him on commisions with their Aranara’s, Padisarah and Nilotpala on them, as well as making little accessories for them to match Collei and Kaveh’s uniforms/outfits.

Food, cuddles and laughs: When Collei has cramps Cyno and Tighnari have to contact Kaveh and get him to come over to comfort, help, distract or just be there for her, since he can empathize. Same goes for if Kaveh’s having them.

Treats and eats: Kaveh showed Collei how to make a desert that had nuts without either of them realizing and Kaveh doesn’t like nuts and Collei is allergic which neither of them knew so they fool around making a different version without the nuts.

Truly family: Kaveh and Alhaitham and Collei’s godparents even though she treats them like her uncles. When they were first asked and accepted, Kaveh was nervous if he would be good at it or not, but with time and Alhaitham’s affirmations he grew to be a perfect Uncle/godfather for Collei. Alhaitham did too, of course.

Pollen, nature and sickness: During flu season Kaveh and Collei are especially susceptible to getting sick and when they are Collei comes over for sleepovers while Alhaitham takes care of them. They watch movies that Faranak sent Kaveh, with Padisarah and Nilotpala, they sketch, eat, fool around, make weird food concoctions, talk, all the fun things.

Sweet dreams and cuddles: When Collei stays over at Kaveh and Alhaitham’s house she sleeps in their bed. They also usually have breakfast in bed.

Breezes through crystal glass: Tighnari has a greenhouse that Cyno built for him for one of their anniversaries and a few years later they gave Collei a expantion of her own. The greenhouse is near Gandharva Ville, made with tinted green glass.

Flowers and love: Collei knows how much Kaveh loves Mourning Flowers and that he hasn’t seen one that isn’t wilted and starts growing them in the majority of her greenhouse area and when she’s grown enough she plants a few in Kaveh and Alhaitham’s house as a surprise for him then she makes most of the rest into bookmarks mainly for Alhaitham and accessories for Kaveh, which he ends up using on Collei too.

Growing into the sunlight: Kaveh has a habit of doing Collei’s hair, makeup and taking her clothes shopping. He helps her develop her sense of self more, through her self expression apart from being a Forest Ranger, and by doing this at times she doesn’t introduce herself primarily as a ranger, but first as herself, Collei, Cyno and Tighnari’s child.

Designs and colors: Collei and Kaveh do each other’s nails, Collei usually gets hers to match Kaveh’s but sometimes he switches it and matches with her.

Getting through what we feel: Kaveh is emotionally stunted from his fathers death, Faranak’s emotional distance during the early mourning period and not having space to share his grief, only trying to support his mother, not himself. Collei is also learning to cope with her feelings and emotions and thoughts, and through doing so, starts to help Kaveh very slowly to heal emotionally and mentally. At least a little.
