i know this might be a little late,,, but if you're still answering questions?? i was wondering what are some of the best fandom experiences you've had? like, are there any really cool things that have happend to you in a certain fandom? or if there are any stories you'd like to share lol
My answer is incredibly more late than your question was, sorry!!! But I do want to answer this question :’’> For the most part, my personal fandom experiences have been really amazing - people have been super nice and kind to me!!!
As for specific stories, I feel odd talking about all experiences bc they include other people and I’m really hesitant talking about others publicly, but hmmmm I think one of my favorite stories, while not particularly fandom-related, is how I got to know my friend Dani ( @authenticparanoidghosts ) who is the COOLEST FUCKING PERSON (she will claim she’s not but, she’s so cool???), because I was an awkward dweeb who started sending her anonymous messages on morse code, and she was cool and kind enough to answer me which was the start of our friendship!!! And we made OCs together and all in all she’s always been so nice to me and I wanted to take this moment to just brag about how awesome she is haha~ (Sorry Dani for calling you cool but you need to know you are)
Another really cool experience which also doesn’t have anything to do with fandom is just how many people these days associate foxes with me and have sent me pictures of them and tagged me in fox posts. It’s been really positive experience to me bc I wasn’t and still isn’t very used to kind gestures like that from people!!! And being thought about!!
LRTN has obviously been my most positive experience though, from all the kind comments, all the nice people I’ve gotten to know through it, and just.... everything with it. All in all I’m really grateful to the people who have been nice to me :’’>
