It was a nice night with clear skies, perfect for stargazing. Usually, Hidan would have been against doing this in favor of doing more important things like praying to Jashin or finding a sacrifice or two but he had already done all of that. By the time night had fallen he was bored since he had somehow finished everything he had to do that day.
That was how he found himself outside with Kawainu, peacefully looking at the stars. It was honestly nice but Hidan didn’t say that outloud. He was content to sit there in silence and enjoy it.
He stayed silent until Kawainu spoke, eyes glancing at her before looking back up at the sky. “Whoa…” He said absent mindedly as he watched the shooting star fly by.
What should he wish for? Happiness? No, that was too cliche and could mean almost anything. Food? Love? Money? No, no and no. None of those things interested him enough for him to waste a shooting star on.
He glanced back at her, gaze lingering for a momemt before he closed them and laid down on the grass. He wished that she would join Jashinism or at least try it. How cool would it be to not only have another Jashnist but to have one that could shapeshift into animals? Hidan thought it would be cool as fuck.
“What would you fucking wish for?” He asked even though he hadn’t told her his wish. He was sure she could easily guess since he had, on numerous occasions, tried to get her to join his religion. Whatever she was wishing for had to be something significant. That’s why he wanted to know despite the childhood rule that saying your wishes out loud prevented them from coming true.
“Well?” He prompted again without even waiting long enough to give her time to answer. He was curious and eager to know. Eager enough to void the already small amount of patience he did have.
