Kaworu sometimes likes to play a game of seeing how long it takes a Shinji-kun to uncover his true identity. Game spoiled, he steps over to him. “We have not met. I am Kaworu. Nagisa Kaworu.”

A Totally Not Awkward Conversation At All

. . . you are so adorable, in your innocence and denseness. No, not so much the shirt, as a compounding of many things lately. I do not believe I am acting much dissimilar now to how I was a year ago, yet the reactions are quite different.

Kisses can mean many things, but tell me Shinji-kun... from your expectations, would a kiss on the lips always be presumed to be eros -- romantic?

Reactions, different? Is this about how I used to yell at you and push you away whenever you came close?  I’m sorry about that, you looked so alike that everything I felt for him, and every issue I had with having feelings for him, they all came up around you.

And keeping myself away from everyone, that’s just what I did so I wouldn’t get hurt. That's how I was able to cope with every thing that happened back home.  But...t-that’s not the way I want to be, not when I don’t have to do that here and now with you of all people.

Every you from every world I've ever met, you've all done everything you could to help me. Th-The least I could do is accept that kindness. A-And honestly, I think you're perfect so... So there's no way anybody wouldn't come to like you.
