Calcifer spun around. He looked up to see the man’s concerned face.
“I h-heard r-running!” the man said. “You s-should not b-be outside th-this late!”
“Sorry.” Calcifer replied sheepishly. “But I heard something loud, Kay! It made a mess in the driveway. Could it be aliens?”
“You sh-should get back t-to bed. We can s-see what ha-happened in the m-morning.”
“Fine.”
Not gonna lie I am figuring out the best way to bring Jay and Kay into Shifting Lines xD

Danevbie Legacy, Generation Eight Chapter Forty-Six, is now out!
That’s a Wrap!
Well, we’ve made it to the end of the line! Sort of. Although I have changed my mind on how to post the LEPacy, I’m keeping my word. I’ll still play and post, but the posts will be every-so-often and will serve as “check-ins” with the legacy family as we go on.
Let me shout out @dovahtobi for these wonderful characters! I hope I did them justice. Also I guess this is kind of a Danevbie fanfic? Like an AU? I dunno what to call it. Hopefully I did that justice too.
To prevent spoilers, here’s some hover text so you can see what I imagine went down in this Danevbie AU. Unfortunately, if you are on mobile, you won't be able to see it.
Oh, I know I mentioned it in the Baines MMBC Finale, but this version of Jay was going to team up with Cathy to cause despair in the MMBC-verse. Check it out back over here!
One last thing: I really love this picture. It makes me happy tbh.
“W-what...?” the man said. Were were in what appeared to be the living room. I was a bit confused as to who he was, and the toddler, but from a simple deduction...
“Brother, this is Ms. Newton and her child.” Jay said to the man. “Ms. Newton, this is my brother, Kay.”
“N-nice t-to m-m-meet y-y-you.” he said with a smile.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you too.” I said.
“You were going to the park, yes?” Jay said.
“Y-y-yes. W-w-ith C-C-Cal.” Kay replied.
“Good. Take Ms. Newton’s child with you. We have some private matters to discuss.”
“I have a name you know.” Nadine sighed.
“I’m sure you do. Now run along.” Jay replied.
Danevbie Legacy, Generation Eight chapter Forty-Two is now out and I am sorry for so few pictures :\
