Maria stood, invisible in the legal office watching the woman, who was speaking with two men, carefully. Her trust for the woman was slim but she was still curious about her. This whole... death world was so strange for Maria and the people in control of it all sent her here to watch over this woman for a while. Which, Maria figured, was a cruel fate indeed. She didn’t have her children or her husband any longer, that was for sure. She’d rather burn some where than to not be around her family.
The sound of a door closing pulled her out of her thoughts, making her jump in surprise revealing her hiding place. Oh, great. That is the exact thing she didn’t want to do. Good news is the only one left in the room was Karen. Bad news, she will probably scream once she is noticed. Her mind raced trying to figure out what to say when it did happen.

Apparently, (populated) districts of Koror(literally the biggest citiy and has practically all the main stores and lots of residents) were hit by Haiyan. The article I read this from also mentioned that parts of Babeldaob(the main island) besides Koror were hit. And Kayangel was right in the eye of the typhoon and naturally took the most damage. Typhoon Haiyan didn't just hit the Phillipines, even though it hit the Phillipines pretty hard as well. I think a LOT of people are forgetting that even some small islands like Palau were hit.
My favorite place in the whole entire world now looks likr this thanks to mother nature's child, Typhoon Haiyan. Thankfully, no lives were lost. Love and prayers to all those that must start over.
