Headcanon

Kay likes to wear Sam's flannel shirts around the house when he's off hunting. She loves the way it covers her, just like Sam's arms. It smells just like him, and it just feels so nice. Even though she doesn't think Sam knows about her wearing them, he does, because he's caught her doing it before,,,<3

Medieval!Kaychester AU: Kay is an accomplished and revered lady knight who has slain every menace to darken the doorstep of her liege's kingdom.  Samuel is a lord of the court who becomes smitten with the beautiful lady knight after laying eyes on her at her post next to the king at court.

His professions of love are initially rejected (Kay has to protect the kingdom, after all, and there isn't much time for romance in amongst the slaying of dragons), but he begins sending pages to bring her tokens of good fortune and bravery to aid her in her mission.

One day, Samuel finds himself captured by a particularly evil eight-legged giant.  Immediately, Kay rides out in search of the person who she has begun to think of as her lucky charm.  Upon finding the monster's lair, Lady Kay discovers Samuel restrained by a mass of webs and frees him.  Side by side, the two fight their way out of the cavern and conquer the malicious creature.

Samuel and Kay ride off to the castle, Samuel again professing his affections for his lady knight.  After the first few miles, Kay glances sidelong at Samuel, a smile playing upon her lips.  'I suppose you could be my damsel.'

makes the bed in the mornings: Sammy. He’s not used to having a bed of his own yet, so he likes to take advantage.

has sole posession of the T.V. remote: Kay. After years of being on the road with Dean and his entertainment choices, Sam is more than happy to let Kay choose what they watch. (Plus Kay has awesome taste, so he loves it anyway.)

stays up until 2am reading: Both, but it’s usually Sammy, whether it’s a tome for research or a novel for entertainment.

is the bigger cuddler: Kay. Sammy isn’t much of a cuddler, or much for physical contact at all, really. Unless it’s with Kay, that is…

does the laundry: They take turns, though sometimes Sam still struggles with how a normal washer works. (The first time he used it, he kept looking for where the quarters would go in.)

mows the lawn: Sam

is better at budgeting: Hmmmm… Probably Sammy. He has to remind Kay to budget things efficiently.

instigates the sex (and who’s into the kinkier stuff): I imagine they both do, but Sam doesn’t do anything without Kay’s okay first. If Kay’s in too much pain for any extracurricular activities, they usually end up curled together on the bed or couch.
