two idiots pining for each other and not realising that the other person feels the same way, bonus points if all their friends are aware of it and completely done with their obliviousness. 

fake dating. it’s a classic.

in moves when someone starts explaining the Plan™ as there’s a montage of the plan being carried out by the team.

i love team dynamics in general? when you have all these different personalities having to work together while being incredibly snarky.

i just LOVE sun/moon dichotomy and symbolism, especially in relation to characters. when you have a sun character and a moon character who fight alongside each other?? that’s good.

least favourite;

when a female character dies and it just ends up being for a male character’s Man Pain™ and to assist his development. boring and tired.

when mental illness is sexualised?? (e.g. having a ~dark side~ that represents their mental illness that’s also the ‘sexy’ version of themselves)

making fun of fat characters/fat character only existing to be comedic relief. it’s just not funny?

alien/fantasy races being coded as poc (especially if they’re the bad guys)

really forced het relationships that get pushed in every single mediocre movie hollywood comes out with, just because one character is a guy and the other is a girl doesn’t mean they have to be together! they really don’t!!

aha I used to brainstorm with people a lot but not as much now. I still would rather if I get the chance! @idreamonpaper knows this lol

I thought this meant books you read and I was like VICIOUS! ILLUMINAE! but I think it’s about my own books so: nDOT as a movie or TV series (also maybe the clone story. there’s like 2 sets total :P)

30 : Does writing calm you down or stress you out?

calm! the longer I don’t write the more stressed out I get. like a car alarm that beeps louder the closer you get to hitting something. my creative outletttt

okay so percy (and therefore all the clones) look like that generic pinterest white boy. War is pale and a redhead (but I'm cheating 'cause I remember your art of them). Death 99% of the time has a facial expression like they just bit down on a lemon. Conquest has long hair that's kept in this elaborate braid but other than that they're kinda foggy.

how dare you. how dare you come into my home and tell me Percy looks like him

thanks so much kay!! I did have a really good day, actually (improvement on last year when I ended up sobbing in a restaurant oops djskjsk), I got to spend time with some of my best friends and even though I had a lot of work to do this evening, I did have a great time with my family and they were really generous with their presents (even my 13 yr old brother which is a surprise because I don’t usually expect him to put in such an effort, but he was really nice).

3. How has the WIP changed between starting it and where it is now?holy shit so much omg. Valkrya I created with my best friend at primary school when I was like 11 years old, so you can imagine it was UH something. brief overview: the valkyrie sisters are immortal goddesses who basically control the universe and also have brightly coloured hair and angel wings. aside from that there was like zero plot which is understandable but djskjsk I still can’t believe we tried writing that crap, maybe one day I’ll dig out my ancient ipad, get it working and see if I find anything on there about it. some of you will remember what Cursed Queen used to be like, please don’t remind me.

23. What’s more important: characters or plot?hmm I’m not exactly sure? when I’m writing, probably characters, but plot is really important to me too… okay yeah I’m struggling to choose djskjsksk. that being said, I admittedly love my ocs more than I love the stories they’re in. plus, as I’ve said some of my wips’ plots are unrecognisable compared how they used to be.

25. What authors and books have inspired you to write your work?for Valkrya, it’d by The Diviners by Libba Bray (YOU SHOULD ALL READ IT), it’s set in a similar time period and I love the writing style. for Deus it’s 100% Leigh Bardugo, I adore the way she writes character dynamics and humour. if I could only be the tiniest bit as good as her at writing, I would be happy :o
