Ok I was gonna wait for him to post first but AHH

If you follow @dviddy elsewhere you may know he's at the LEGO House in Billund rn, specifically asked to come put some of his works on display. Which blows my mind and he deserves all the cred. Top tier Bionicle MOCist, repping for all of us.

Apparently they specifically ask for certain MOCs, one of which was the rendition of my character Kayru that he made.

I was tagged a few weeks ago by :devninjakato: to share 8 facts about my main character... decided I might as well...! It got deep at the end, sorry in advance. Kayru --------------- I am not a fur...

In case anyone’s curious for more... got tagged in an ‘8 facts’ thing by @kato-ren... so. yup

just a disclaimer for those wondering, because I get this question every once in a while.

I am not a furry. Kayru is not ‘me’. She is a character I created, who happens to have the same name as my online alias. It’s just a result of her origins, which was initially as an ‘avatar Toa’ that almost everyone had on BZPower. Even then the character wasn’t ‘me’. I used Kayru as a MALE in the comics I made. halcyonlioness (Moutekea)’s dragonling inspired me to do something other than a Toa as my character, and so I made a vulpine humanoid (because foxes have always been my favorite animal). 

Then my artistic interests started to expand, so I made a natural biological version of Kayru. Every instance is one I still use and still regard as ‘Kayru’ - but none are me, although I answer to that name, because that’s how internet alias names work.

At best, she is a muse. She’s my favorite character, and I like drawing and building her in all sorts of forms and situations, and that doesn’t mean she is ‘me’ any more than it means Harry Potter IS JK Rowling.

That said, she’s been with me for a long time and so I am very attached to her (as my tattoo would prove). So doing her at least some justice as a MOC is very exciting. I hope that you like her. ^^;

Kayru A foxlike Rahi seen rarely in the depths of Le-Wahi. Many inhabitants of Le-Koro believe her to be a forest spirit, guarding over the peace of the woods. She was believed for many years to be a myth, with only a scarce few claiming to have seen her - but their stories were later confirmed. A portion of the forest was set ablaze years ago, and she emerged from the wood just long enough to pull some weak Matoran out of the fire before disappearing again. None have ever heard her make a sound and she is believed to be many hundreds of years old.

She’s debuting this weekend at BrickFair. :) Her tail will likely go through some changes in time, but I’m very happy with this first pass.
