And while Ryan and Kayson went gently down the hill, his parents on the other hand made the mistake of hitting one too many ramps on their way down 🤣

Ryan barely had time to ring her little dinner bell before the whole family began filling their plates and taking their seats around the table. Everyone dug into the meal and went on about how great it was - a normal thing during the holidays if Ryan was cooking!

Winnie: Hey! I think I did a pretty good job, too!

Ryan: *chuckles* You were a great sous chef, Win!

After breakfast, it was time to enjoy the snow as a family - everybody's making Snow Pals!

Kayson: Daddy! Dis isn't my bed!

Dusty: It's a new bed, Little Buddy, but don't worry - we've got our old bedtime stories. Get cozy, we're reading your favorite!

Kayson: *tiny yawn* Yay!

Dusty being a dad has got me in the heart 😭 I remember when he was a baby like it was yesterday...also for extra heartache.

Luckily, Winnie managed to finish Kayson's sweater just before they had to leave!

Winnie: Here you go, Kay. I won't be home for Winterfest, so here's an early present!

Kayson: *tiny gasp* Present! Yay! It's got a puppy on it!

Winnie: It does! Now, let's get a picture of you in your new sweater!

Kayson finished his dinner first and was not willing to wait patiently for his parents to finish theirs - luckily, Uncle Gideon is here to save the day!

Gideon: C'mere little buddy! Let's play superheroes!

Kayson: Yay! Superheroes! I wanna fly, Unky Gid!

Gideon: Let's fly, then! Ohhh, my back...
