Indoctrinating myself with holy words and speeches, my attempt at wiping this hard drive of a mind failed. The kiss of her lips felt like returning to Eden. Lying was an attempt at salvaging a relationship better spent as friends. A proposal was as shallow as my promises made as a youth. Going with waves of my ocean, this soul was less stable than our economy. Granted more than a king’s share, I ate up empathy and spit out the bonds. Crippled by my transgressions, countless priestesses and soldiers wasted energy on my life. With each sunrise, I redesigned myself to find a way out. Lifting my knees from the dust, I set my gaze upon the shadows to hide. With too much remorse to cure through spirituality, counseling, and community; I abandoned each to discover myself. Talking like I’m an elder, it’s been 19 years since my trip past the stars. Growing weary of this reflection, I gathered my slivers of consciousness to confess my sadness. Met by an onslaught of support and understanding, I was too weak to lift my head. Sobriety kicked in alongside the realization that so much has happened. With it, I’ve felt depths of emotion and purpose traveling this world. Not quite dead inside, I fell upon a path beyond self-loathing and pride. Be it a worldview, delusion, or philosophy; I can only account for the impact it’s had on me. No longer willing to point the finger, I’ve resolved nothing alone. Each step towards healing and was made on the backs of strangers who were just being themselves. Transparency is a ways away. Thankfully, there’s no clock beyond this fictitious perception of time. 1. What’s the one skill you've always really kind of wanted to learn, but never had the chance/time/money/courage to try?

2. How many generations back can you trace your family tree (in terms of knowing any details at all about the person)?

Personally? My great-gran on mom's side (she lived long enough for me to actually meet her). We have a family tree somewhere that my grandma researched, and I believe my aunt on my dad's side was doing the same. But I dunno.

3. Biggest fear you had that turned out to be no big deal?

*clinical anxiety intensifies* (probably most of them) (fun story I passed my drivers exam with flying colors and was super tense the entire time and he was like SEE IT WASN'T THAT BAD and I was all YES, YES IT WAS and he was genuinely confused)

4. What occasion do you always make an effort to dress up for, no matter how busy you are?

actually leaving the house or having company over (if by dress up you mean wearing something other than pajamas)

5. What’s the most important appointment you ever overslept or came in late for?

*sweats nervously* I try to make it to places a half an hour early but uuuhhh I overslept for the bus to school?

6. Are you going to make a New Year’s resolution?

7. What style would you decorate/design your dream house in?

I... IDK, I try not to think too much about who did the song, because I want to enjoy the song for what it is, not for who it's by... Yoko Kanno, maybe?

9. What’s the prettiest or weirdest weather event you’ve ever witnessed?

I'm not a big fan of weather, but I like it when you get a light sprinkle on a cloudless sky.

Earlier today I decided I was in the mood to read some Good Omens fanfic, but I didn't have anything specific in mind for genre or whatever so I used Kaytara's Starter Kit for recommendations. And I went and chose The Walls, the Wainscot and the Mouse, didn't I? Which was great. Except no one told me that it was a 29 part series. (And now you know, you should read it if you haven't already. Although I haven't finished it yet and some of the titles/summaries for later look very forboding).

Uh, guys, I think there's been a little misunderstanding. A couple of people have talked to me about my "leaving" the Good Omens fandom. I didn't dump GO entirely; I'm just taking a break from actively participating in the fandom, which is not the same thing. I'm not going to quit talking to my fandom friends; I'm not going to never write another fanfic or draw another fanart piece; I'm not going to stop liking the book. I'm just feeling the burnout that comes with obsessing about something 24/7 after a while. I have a lot of other interests and obligations that were collecting dust, and I was just ready for a broader range of activities, rather than Good Omens all day, every day.

Hope that resolves things a little. :)

Yeah, go for it! It doesn't even have to be a drawing (though that would be nice) -- just as long as I can print it out and stick it on a piece of paper, it can be whatever you like. I'd be very grateful, and I'm sure he would appreciate it. :)
