I love way too many things about them; how they gave us Steve and Bucky the way we love them, how they put their hearts and souls in them and it showed, I love their weird choices of movies (this goes to Seb tho more. Weird as they may be, I love most of Seb's movies. I wait to see them not just because I'm a fan of his, but because I'm always interested in his choices and the stories he wants to tell through them). I love that they are open about their mental health issues and insecurities. 1/3

I love how nothing can make Chris shut up and not voice his opinions on things that matter, and I love how much Seb cares for charities and helping others and how I'm certain there are a lot we don't know about because he's not the type of person to talk about his good deeds. I love how meme-able Seb is, I love his soft voice and how confused he is with everything. I love Dodger and Chris's love for him. I love Chris's beautiful eyes and Seb's lips and Chris's beard and Seb's cute ear bump. 2/3

I love how incredibly sexy they both are but I love how it's not the first thing that comes to mind when I think about them. I love how they gave me a safe zone for the past 5 years, and I love how I have something fond to look back at in the future because of them. 3/3

Just coming over to say I agree with everything you said (and about to say) about EB. It's good that some people like it and enjoy the sex scenes, but it's also alright for some to not. For so many of us, our happy bubble consists of Seb (or his characters) in a happy relationship with a guy (coughCHRIScough) and this movie does its best to intrude on that safe space. It's not the movie's fault, but neither is it ours; it's just that these two things can't work together, at least for some of us.

What I'm saying here is: It's okay to like the movie, but understand the reasons why some won't. (Also the plot is terrible and allows for some horrendous objectification of Sebastian Stan, but that's a different subject). (2/2)

Thanks so much for this, Sally ❤️ As always, your insights are spot on and so eloquent and you’re completely right, if you ask me. As with any movie, some people will, for reasons of their own, enjoy it more than others, and that’s fine. And even if we don’t enjoy it so much, that doesn’t mean we don’t support Sebastian or aren’t happy for him for being so happy with this movie! But yes, like we’ve discussed, it’s also valid to wish he got a chance to be in more movies that gave him the opportunity to both be creative as an actor (like was in this one) but that also allowed him to explore more refined and original characters and story lines. But he’s got some great projects in the pipe line, so I’m positive he’ll be fine! And if he prefers sticking to Indie-type movies that maybe don’t always get or deserve the best reviews but that do make him happy, then that’s fine by me too! As long as he’s happy, really 🤷🏻‍♀️
