Okay… So it turns out I have to duel him three times before I can actually defeat this guy. Thankfully I can actually save between duels instead of being force to go through multiple duels without a break.

On the plus side, at least Kazejin helped me win this duel.

The Paradoxical Guardians event has begun! :D Para and Dox have cool theme music, and to duel them we have to earn Maze Keys! This event is a little more complex than the others--aside from appearing at the Gate they appear in Duel World where you can choose a door. Para’s door leads to a stronger fight, and at high levels they can start the game with a powerful monster like Gate Guardian or Labyrinth Wall on the field! The game recommends cards to use against them like Jowls of Dark Demise or Stop Defense, since beating them head-on is a task the game itself describes as impossible. This is giving me Forbidden Memories flashbacks! Agh!

As playable characters, their skill ‘Elements Unite!’ lets you start a match with only 500 LP, but Suijin, Kazejin, and Sanga of the Thunder are on your field, with only Gate Guardian in your hand. High-risk, high-reward!

I got my first random prismatic card in Duel Links and saw a hilarious situation with the Paradox Brothers’ AI. Or to put it their way, Para and Dox's AI is broke/ Crazy summons, and that's no joke!

Epithet: The Wizard of the Wind

Voice Actor: Sam Riegel

Tribe: The Kindred, The Highlands

Biography: There are three elemental guardians that serve as the pieces for their fused form of the Gate Guardian. There's Sanga of the Thunder, ruler of Luminous Cloud, Suijin, a powerful water elemental that serves as part of Atlantica's royal court, and Kazejin, the Highland pen-pal of Stern Mystic, and perhaps one of the best wind monsters in all of the Duelscape.

His massive lung capacity means that his Thunder Stroke Attacks and Squall Barricades can prove hard to withstand! He and his right-pawed man Frenzied Panda serve as a sort of windy buffer to prevent Dragons from entering a supposedly sacred realm to the west that could potentially be a shortcut to ALL tribal lands regardless of distance. He's also a Spellbinder, and will occasionally leave his home in the Windswept Hills to talk with his fellow Spellcaster friends.
