Suspicious Phone Behavior

(context: Zoey and Kaz are dating, modern day/non-killing game AU, threesome mention)

(Kazuichi is she/her, Zoey is he/it).

Zoey and Kazuichi were sitting on opposite ends of the couch, scrolling their phones across from each other. Zoey started absentmindedly looking at Kazuichi, when he sees his girlfriend's eyes suddenly widen. Her smile widened, her cheeks getting a faint pink. Kazuichi bit her lip and was clearly scrolling down her phone. She was even starting to drool.

Zoey giggled at the sight. "How hot is she?" Zoey asked, taking a shot in the dark.

"Yeah she's really hot. " Kazuichi muttered in response.

Then all of a sudden, Kazuichi's face contorted to being freaked out. She instinctively turned her phone's screen off and hid it under her leg, the faint blush turned into a deep burn, her eyes darting around. "I - I wasnt-!"

Too late to hide it, Kaz. (And you're so bad at hiding it).

"Hey! Im not mad!" Zoey said. He reached over and squeezed his partner's hand, giving a reassuring smile.

"'M not cheating!..." Kazuichi mumbled, looking ashamed of herself.

"I know you're not. You're just looking at porn right?"

"N-not exactly--"

"It's okay if you were! I just wanna see it too! Can we look together?" Zoey continued to reassure its girlfriend, holding her hand, smiling. Kazuichi was trying to meet its gaze, smiling nervously back. Zoey was getting the vibe that this wasnt porn. "Or... you were looking at some sexy pictures of a woman, right?"

"Yee...kind of?..."

Zoey was getting annoyed and a bit paranoid with these short, cryptic answers, but it took a breath and reminded himself that Kaz was getting over some trust issues. Patient. Be patient with her. Zoey did trust that she wasnt cheating, but Kaz's behavior suggested that she knowingly violated some kind of boundary.

"Can I see?" Zoey asked.

Kazuichi bit her lip and handed Zoey her phone. She started nervously giggling and crying and saying "Sorry this is...stupid..."

Zoey turned on the phone screen and...

Well. He thought he knew what to expect. But.

This was just a picture of a car. Actually, it was an album of pictures of this car. All the same car. The outside, the inside, the engine parts, everything.

"She..." Kazuichi started trying to explain.

Zoey giggled in relief.

Kazuichi giggled too.

"You're not stupid! Dont call yourself stupid!" Zoey told her. "I love you. It's okay. It's okay that you were looking at pictures of a..." Zoey looked at the phone again. "...Sexy... car?"

"You're so sweet!" Kazuichi was crying tears of relief. "I was- I was thin-thinking..." Kazuichi put her hand behind her head and played with her hair. "Would you be okay with- do you wanna have a--- a threesome- --with - with"

"With her?" Zoey asked. Referring to the car.

"Yeahhhh!" Kazuichi looked so hopeful, clasping her hands together. Eyes lit up, excited like a little kid. She looked like she was about to start begging, which Zoey usually found cute, but he didnt want poor Kaz to have to wait in anxiety any longer.

"Sure!" Zoey said. Why not? He wasnt sure how that would translate in reality, if it ever did, but why not?

"Aw, you're the best! I knew you'd say yes!!" Kazuichi squeezed Zoey in a hug, and laughed with tears streaming down her face. They hugged and kissed and as Kaz calmed down she continued to explain more about this car.

Kazuichi Coming Out As a Girl

(There's some ignorant misgendering from Fuyuhiko...)

In my fanfic, Kazuichi starts out by coming out slowly to a few different people. After some time has passed, her hair has grown a bit, she decides it's time...One day she's in her canon look, the next day she's dyed her hair red, styled it differently, back to wearing glasses, and now has a flashy dress. Yes, all the changes at once. Zoey (also back to wearing her own glasses) supports her girlfriend by wearing the same dress (also it's just fun to match). She also still wears her regular outfit.

Ibuki, Coby (trans Sonia), Gundham, Teruteru and Nekomaru knew about Kazuichi's gender before this moment. Not sure who else, if anyone else, still planning that...

This is all confusing to Fuyuhiko, who has some (internalized?) queerphobic issues he needs to sort out. Mahiru never got to know Kazuichi, dealing with her own issues with Fuyuhiko and avoided Zoey (therefore avoided Kazuichi) for a lot of the school trip. (Speaking of that, I currently have no idea how to resolve the Mahiru-Fuyuhiko stuff yet, but for the sake of this post we need to pretend that was somehow all resolved before this moment. It's maaagic ✨✨). Hajime...he heard Kazuichi say some statements that should have made it obvious, but Hajime didn't pick up on it until this moment. Oop.
