KB Flexee loom review — a flexible knitting loom to replace circle / lon...
Finished Friday
Hat number two with same Caron Simply Soft acrylic yarn. Soft Pink, Orchid, and black. It is a soft yarn. But I don’t think that it is a good sock or slipper yarn as it isn’t very stretchy. Because of that, I chose to use the e-wrap knit stitch. The brim was a garter stitch which is one row of knit, one row of purl. The rest just the e-wrap mentioned before. I made this one the same KB white…

Warm Will Happen! I finished my matching cowl! Bernet Baby yarn. It's self striping. I used the garter stitch on the orange, small-gauge, KB with 80 pegs! Now I kind of can't wait for cold weather! Don't know if I care that these aren't my colors. Warm and soft win!

This week started with a pair of unmatched socks. I didn’t realize it until I took the picture. I kept rearranging until they ‘looked’ matched. But one cuff was two inches longer than the other.
So I tried to think how I could donate, with clear conscience, to my charity. I couldn’t. I thought maybe I should keep them for myself. Nah. So I went through all the yarn hoping to find more of the…

One-Liner Wednesday--Soft Hat
One-Liner Wednesday–Soft Hat
Another soft hat!
It’s reversible. White KB fine-gauge loom, Bernat Pipsqueak! (Did I mention I love this yarn?) Fold-up brim then flat-stitch knit the rest.
The sad part is it is too small for me. But I can think of a few people that might like it. This was my yarn so I prefer to gift it to a friend or family. I use the donated yarn for donation items.
Since this was the One-Liner…

Comfie Footies
Ran out of the yarn I needed but happy just the same. Used the pattern on the KB site for Comfie Footies, Sugar and Cream cotton.

Stream of Consciousness Saturday - Frame
Stream of Consciousness Saturday – Frame
Well, how shall I frame this? Though this prompt by Linda G. Hillis meant to bring about some creative writing, I find myself lost in a different kind of yarn. The knitting is done on a round frame with pegs all around. Actually, a KB loom. It made a hat slightly smaller than what would be comfortable for me. I’m passing it on to the Hat Huggers. I think it would be a nice soft hat for a chemo…

Happy St. Patrick's and St. Gertrude Day! 20190317
Happy St. Patrick’s and St. Gertrude Day! 20190317
To celebrate I finished two hats! Neither are for snakes or cats. Nor are they green. But here they are. The baby one is waiting for the matching toy. Both are heading for charities.
This was a larger adult version (KB Loom) of the past one using the ‘homespun’ type yarn. It is so soft. I still have a little more of this yarn that I will use for a baby hat. Again this is the fold up brim to…
