Happy birthday, Song Yoon Ah! 💖✨
I know I’m 5 years late, but I just wanna say that Hong Chan-mi and Choi In-kyung from Assembly are GAAAAAY. The way Chan-mi constantly bullied In-kyung wasn’t an ordinary act of savagery. She was obsessed with her! 😂 I know that. That’s how some of us (closeted gays) tend to do because it’s the only way to express our romantic interest. +That part when In-kyung expected Chan-mi to tease her, but she was disappointed coz chan-mi wasn’t in the mood. And I don’t know if that’s just Seohyung’s charm, but did you see the way she looks at her???? ughhhh 😭😭😭😭 how I wish Korea was more open to gay dramas 💔
#kdramawomensweek - day 4: work, work, work ➜ choi in kyung (assembly)
“The 24 pillars set up in the main building (of the assembly) represent 24 solar terms (4 seasons, each season has 6 solar periods). The 365 lights in the ceiling represent 365 days. The point is to work hard for the people 365 days per year without fooling around.“
i am crying. that was a perfect ending to Assembly.
MY BABY GETS TO BE HER OWN SHINING SELF.
OMG, way too late but I finally noticed that Assembly’s Hong Chan Mi is the Empress Dowager from Empress Ki! (I’ve been watching both shows for weeks but only now I recognize her lol)
somebody give Choi Ingyeong an Assembly nomination so that she can do her own thing and not have to give in to these idiots around her. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.
I mean I can so feel her disappointment at the way things worked out, and though Jin Sang Pil is right in his own way- and given his own personality- and though he apologized for being WAY OUT OF LINE with what he said about her being another one like Baek Do Hyon and the rest- I think she was absolutely right in her own way. Jin Sang Pil can flail around as much as he wants but he doesn’t have the power to change the political system ground up by doing that. And lbr, even if he;d become Secretary General, he might not have got away with it- but his chances would have improved marginally.
Also, as an aside, I’ll be very surprised if Kim Gyu Hwan’s exit was permanent...without an actual confrontation between him and Jin Sang Pil, that bit of the story feels incomplete.
I guess another 2 episodes to go? What will I do when this is over. :/
"Yes. To be honest, I'm not sure if this is for the people. But I believe that this is what the people desperately want. Yes. That's what I think."
It’s been a week now that I can’t watch Assembly on viki :/ It’s telling me it’s not available in my country but my country is listed as a licensed region and I was able to watch it before without any problems... I finally messaged viki yesterday, so I hope they will fix it.
Is anyone else having this problem?
