I get reminded of this sometimes and I just have to start punting the point across the room: Art does not have to be queer for queers to enjoy it. If you only enjoy things made BY queers AS a queer you are going to have a very bad time.

I'm not kidding when I say that I consider a complete lack of PoC, Gay or Transgender characters in your work a massive red flag atp.
No, it does not matter if you're a furry. Furries can have race. Hair shape, texture and eye shape, just, run with it. Like if you've got like 20 characters and ALL of them are white (coded or actual) cishet binary men and women characters I do not fucking trust you in the slightest man straight up.

I mean it, too. There's a lot of reasons. Medicine's better, for one - and for two... well, we're having to live with our parents longer because we can't afford anything. Societally, ten years has been added to adolescence/young adulthood. But it's been like that for a hot minute too, because well, plenty are still in college and education in their 20s too. So you're not really wholly autonomous until 26 or so at the earliest honestly. "Oh but I got an apartment at 22" -Honestly how did you find a full time job? "Ah, but I went to college at 18!" - That's impressive, and that you got through all 4 years is a statistical outlier atp. Surely you can pay off that debt too? And good luck doing either without steady parents, family or backing? In short we're very stuck these days.

Something I love about the Rainworld fandom is that Hunter has two assigned genders. Cisguy or Transgirl. One way or another we've all but unanimously agreed that this mf ain't afab and that's EXTREMELY funny to me.

I can't believe Dess Holiday became my favorite character in DeltaTale and she hasn't even said anything or appeared (as far as we know/confirmed) in game yet. Am I that much of a loser.
