nightwing was batman’s first robin, and seemingly the perfect example of a protégé in the likes of the dark knight. soon he began to outgrow the role of robin and became his own hero, in well regards and the approval of bruce.
dick and bruce had always been close, although their personalities were the polar opposites, even in the line of duty. but ever since bruce had been getting caught up with the likes of selina kyle, dick had the loving support of a tamaranean princess to indulge in. ❝ i hope i’m not late kori. ❞ he teased the woman who gave him his first ever kiss, from the first sight he knew she was something special. ❝ i came as soon as i could when you said you needed help “ training ” the other titans. ❞ he quoted her exact words that she used on the phone, but kori was always a slick woman so he didn’t know if this was actual training the others together or they would spend quality time with each other.
either way, he was glad to be by her side. although he had mostly leaned to them spending time together.
