Hi! I saw that you wanted to talk about The Night Circus? I have so many questions; who's your favorite character, what were your favorite tents, what did you think of the ending? Also The Inkheart Trilogy: aahahsjdhsjs I've never met anyone else who's read them, I love them so much! The world building is so beautiful and it's one of my all-time favorite trilogies
EEEEEPPP!!! Holy heck where do I even begin!? Okay, favorite character? argggg Really tough! Hmmm, i think im the most like Celia, but if hard pressed…Friedrick is my favorite. My two favorite tents were the Bedtime Stories and the Pool of Tears. I would’ve also had a blast in the cloud maze, but the others are tied for my two faves. The slow moving statues were lovely too. I thought the ending was super fitting really. Because Prospero didn’t win AND stuck himself in veritable purgatory (the bastard), Celia and Marco get to be eternally together in the world of their making, the Circus lives on, and although Bailee is now bound to it i think it’s where he belongs. Also, he had a choice! That was most important! And i think that’s a subtle reflection of how magic is supposed to be and that it’s real power lies in what you choose to do with it, not in how big or grand or advanced it is. Also, the aesthetics of that world truly left me awestruck! How i WISH i could see that clock tower in real life! And try the food! Guess that makes us both Reveurs. :) (i’ll start knitting the red scarves :D)
Okay, so Inkheart. First off i gotta say, this was the book that finally got me into reading bigger level novels. (thank you to my 4th grade teacher Miss Head) The trilogy as a whole arc is done so well! Mind you, the 2nd and 3rd books were really good, but the first is far superior. Cornelia Funke is one of my favorite authors ever! I mean the way she weaves her narrative is so masterful and the worlds she builds captivating! And the characters and concept i just sfklsafdnkl I LOVE IT ALL!!
Okay, same questions to you about The Night Circus! Also, have you read MIss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children? If not, I HIGHLY recommend it!!
