AN: Still trying to catch up on the missed days, so if there was one you were looking forward to that didn’t get posted, don’t worry! But here’s a cute lil Kpop demon hunters fic with Jinu & Rumi! Not too long, but hey, it’s somethin’
They had been meeting in secret for a while now, conversing in alleyways or on rooftops. Jinu leaned against a wall, scanning for any sign of the demon hunter. He stood up straight when he saw his tiger make its way towards him, only this time, Rumi wasn't following behind.
As Derpy strolled up, Jinu asked, "So she didn't want to come tonight?" He tried not to sound too disappointed, but emotion creeped into his voice.
At the question, Derpy cocked his head, looking behind him. A confused purr rumbled from his throat, tail swishing.
Jinu's brows furrowed at his pet's reaction.
"Huh? What're you looking at?"
"BOO!"
"EEEHEEE!" An embarrassingly shrill shriek filled the air as clawed hands snatched him from behind, resting on either side of his waist.
Rumi erupted in loud cackles as she mocked him, and he stumbled over his words as he scolded her, trying to will away the growing blush on his cheeks. He slapped her hands away and pointed an angry finger at her.
"You! Don't- don't do that!"
"Oho man, for a demon, you sure are jumpy," she taunted, taking a step closer with her hands shoved in her pockets casually. She was wearing plain sweatpants... Darn, he kinda missed the choo choo trains.
"You surprised me," he deadpanned. Rumi scoffed.
"That much was obvious," she said smugly. Jinu rolled his eyes, jumping to the side with a stifled yelp when she poked his side.
She looked him up and down, mischievous smirk giving way to a genuine grin. "No way! Jinu, are you ticklish?"
He bristled at the word, sucking in a breath through clenched teeth. He let out an annoyed huff, crossing his arms defensively and turning around to hide his returning blush. "You're delusional."
"You are!" she cheered, attacking him with a flurry of pokes that had him doubled over in giggles.
"Ohokahahay! I admit ihihit! Hahahappy?"
"Oh you don't even know," she continued to tease, "Skittish and ticklish. Who would've guessed."
"Don't call me that!" he insisted, cheeks flushing from the playful taunt.
"Call you what? Skittish, or ticklish?" she asked smugly, walking slow circles around him as she looked him up and down.
"Neither!" he growled, turning around to keep her in his sights. There's no way he trusts her. Not right now, at least.
She giggled, hiding behind her hand and caught him looking. She suddenly composed herself; standing straight and adverting her eyes as the faintest blush dusted her cheeks.
"So are all demons this ticklish, or is it just you?"
"Gee, I dunno, are all hunters this annoying," he shot back, smirking as he crossed his arms.
"Oh you are just asking for it,” she teased, sneaking another poke to his ribs. He yelped and stumbled back, bracing against the wall for support, but ended up cornering himself.
“Stohop that!”
“Make me,” she challenged with a smirk.
“Maybe I will,” Jinu countered. He stood up straight, leaning into her space. Rumi froze, mouth slightly agape as they locked eyes.
He reached up to tuck a loose lock of hair behind her ear, and in an instant, he was pinned against the wall, arm forced above his head.
“You make this almost too easy,”she practically purred, resting a hand in his exposed pit, and even that made him flinch.
Well, it was official: he was screwed. But… Rumi was getting handsy with him, so who was the real winner here?

Faults and fears must never be seen.
Rumi knew that. Better than anyone. A mantra embedded so deeply into her that her bones were engraved with it. She lived by it. It played on loop constantly, sucking her into the past, dragging her deeper into a cycle of guilt and shame.
One slip-up and it'll all fall apart.
How had Rumi fucked it up this badly?
Or Rumi gets injured during a battle which leads to Zoey and Mira finding out about her patterns. Angst ensues.
He looks back to the others, finding them busy with fans, signing foreheads, and giving thumb hearts. Between Jinu's relentless training and performances, a moment away seems a sweet indulgence.

Summary:
The life of a gisaeng is the only life Rumi has ever known. Day after day she plays her zither to entertain her male patrons, seeing little difference between one man and the next, each of whom she is expected to please. That is, until her music captures the attention of a prickly and enigmatic court musician.
Excerpt:
“It’s too bad you have to hide your skill away like this where only rich, entitled men can hear you play.”
“Like you?” Rumi said.
“Yes, I suppose I’m also a rich, entitled man,” Jinu admitted sardonically.
“No,” she said. When he raised an eyebrow at her, she amended, “I mean, yes, but that isn’t what I meant. I meant…you also hide your skill away, but in the palace. Who else but royals and officials hear you play?”
He crossed his legs and leaned towards her slightly. “But I can leave if I wish,” he said, his voice low, almost a whisper. “Can you, Rumi?”
Was it his tone that sent a shiver up her spine? The question that pierced as sharp as his gaze? Or was it the way he spoke her name?
AN: Still playing catchup on fics, but I had a lot of fun with this one! I’ve been wanting to write something like this ever since watching kdh cause Bobby is so cute & wholesome & he loves his girls! Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Bobby whistled as he walked down the hall, flipping through his clipboard. He had been slaving away working on the girls' schedule, and had just booked them a major gig. He was still trying to secure the Super Bowl performance, but one thing at a time.
Through the door, he could hear laughter and squeals, and a fond smile tugged at his lips. He was glad they were happy, and hopefully, the news he was about to share would make them even happier!
He rapped on the door to announce his presence before entering. "Knock knock! Guess who's gonna be on The Tonight Show!" he cheered, but quickly stopped in his tracks when he realized no one was listening.
The girls were preoccupied; wrestling on the couch and tickling each other. By now, it was a normal sight to see the three goofing off, and he was more than used to their antics. He doubts they even heard him, so he decided to just let them have their fun.
"Sorry, I'll come back when you're not busy," he apologized for the intrusion, backing out the way he came.
"We're not busy," Mira's head popped up from the couch. "What's up?"
"Oh! Uh, are you sure?" he asked, flinching when a shrill shriek pierced his ears. "You seem pretty busy. I'll just come back later."
"Noooo! You were gonna tell us something! What is it?" Zoey's head popped up next, followed by Rumi.
"I think he said something about The Tonight Show?" Mira answered, arching a questioning brow for confirmation.
Bobby nodded, looking back down at his clipboard. "Yep, sure did! You're booked for next Wednesday!"
He was met with a chorus of joyous squeals. "OMG really? You're the best!" Zoey exclaimed, pumping a fist in the air.
"Yeah, thanks Bobby!" Rumi chimed in now that she caught her breath.
He chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ah, it's nothing."
"Don't be so modest!" Zoey said, prompting the others to chime in.
"Yeah, you work harder than anyone," Rumi agreed.
"If anyone needs couch time, it's Bobby," Mira decided. She nodded for him to join them, rolling her eyes when he just stood there. "That's an invitation,"
"I'd love to stay, but-"
"No buts! C'mon, you neeeed a break!" Zoey insisted, and how could he say no to that face?
"Oh alright. But just for a few minutes; I still have some calls to make," he said, but made himself comfortable all the same.
"Of course. We won't keep you long," Mira said with a smirk, glancing between Rumi and Zoey. Rumi had to bite back her smile, shaking her head, while Zoey nodded enthusiastically.
"So... what does "couch time" usually consist of? Do we all just... sit here?" he asked awkwardly. What can he say? He didn't have much free time.
"And watch tv, scroll on our phones, eat snacks," Mira listed off, counting on her fingers to keep track. "Oh yeah, and tickle fights," she added casually, noting the way their manager stiffened at the veiled threat. Interesting.
"And seeing as you interrupted us earlier..."
"I offered to leave!" he defended himself; nervous smile playing at the corner of his mouth. He was sitting on the edge of his seat, ready to bolt.
As if he'd get very far.
"That's beside the point," she shrugged casually, slinging an arm around his shoulder as he made to stand.
"Yeah, we wanna know how ticklish you are!" Zoey blurted out. Bobby choked on his own spit at the sudden question, while both Rumi and Mira facepalmed.
"Zoey!"
"Way to blow our cover! I was trying to be subtle!"
Bobby was already halfway to the door, rushing out a half baked excuse, "Sorry, gotta run girls! I just remembered I need to be… anywhere but here- AH!" He let out a startled scream when Rumi suddenly blocked his path.
"Yeah, running's a bad idea," she said, allowing just enough time for Zoey and Mira to catch up. They each grabbed an arm, dragging him back to the couch.
"W-wait! Can't we talk this ohohout?" his pleading morphed into frantic giggles as they struck.
"No!" all three girls answered in unison. They managed to pin his arms above his head, Zoey and Mira on each side, while Rumi sat on the floor untying his shoes.
"You've been working too hard, you could use a good laugh," Zoey reasoned as she scribbled her nails in his exposed pit.
"There's better wahahays to goho about ihihit!" he argued, leaning away from her touch, only to press himself into Mira's awaiting grasp. Long, slender fingers found the spaces between each rib, and he went from breathy giggles to full hearty laughter.
"Yeah, but this is the easiest," Rumi justified, yanking off his shoe to toss it aside before doing the same to the other.
He instinctively tucked his knees close to his chest, only for Rumi to grab his ankles, stretching his legs back out.
Well, at least she had the decency to let him keep his socks on. Not that the worn out material provided much protection.
She wiggled a finger into a hole on his sock, scratching along his arch.
"Gihihirls, t-thihis reheheally isn't necessaRYYYYY!" he squealed as she scribbled just beneath his toes, making sure to hold them back for more access.
"We know. Aren't we just the nicest?" Mira taunted, kneading the pudge of his belly.
"Yehehes, but-" he tried to protest, only for his laughter to go silent and wheezy when Mira scribbled her nails under his chin. He immediately scrunched his shoulders, slamming his chin down to his chest for protection, but only managed to trap her hand.
Mira smirked, wiggling her fingers and tugging on her hand, earning a squeal from their manager. "Can I have my hand back?"
"I don't knohohow, cahahan you stohop tickling mehehe?" he countered, sass lacing his voice.
"Hm. We could... But we don't want to."
"Yeah, you're laugh is super adorable! We never hear it enough!" Zoey agreed, adding a teasing compliment as she poked around his belly and sides.
Bobby hid his face in his hands, sinking further down on the couch until he was halfway to the floor. Mira grabbed him under the arms to hoist him back up, and he let out a shrill scream before dissolving into frantic laughter.
"Where do you think you're going?" she asked, drilling circles with her thumbs. He snorted, feet drumming against the ground as he did his best to avoid kicking Rumi. She scooted off to the side and began targeting his knees, catching him off guard and drawing out another snort.
""Ohoho come ohohon! Lehet me gohoho!" he whined through his giggles, doing his best to curl up in a human shaped ball.
"No way! We still don't know where your worst spot is!" Zoey exclaimed.
"What? Nohoho wahay!" he protested, nervous giggles pouring from his mouth.
"Yeah, I'm reigning you guys back in. We don't wanna kill him," Rumi stood up for their exhausted manager, patting his knee. He couldn't help but flinch away from the touch, a wobbly smile twitching at his lips.
"Y-yeah, I kinda like to breathe," he joked as he continued to catch his breath.
"Heh, sorry Bobby. We didn't go too far, did we?" Zoey asked, offering an apologetic smile. Bobby's lingering grin turned more genuine at her words of concern.
"It's just tickling, you've gotten away with much worse," he teased, ruffling her hair.
"What? Nooo, we're saints," Mira played along; Rumi and Zoey couldn't help but laugh along.
Bobby rolled his eyes. "Uh huh. I'll be sure to remember that next time you decide to tickle me half to death."
"Aw, so you're saying there's a next time?" Rumi asked innocently, batting her eyes and leaning in to rest her head on his knee.
He chuckled and patted her head before answering, "Yeah well, I'm smart enough to know it'll probably happen again."
"Don't worry, we'll make sure you won't see it coming," Mira promised.
"Gee, thanks."
"You're welcome!" Zoey chirped, grabbing him in a warm hug. Mira and Rumi joined the hug, and he relaxed under the embrace.
"You girls are a piece of work, I tell you. Now, someone help me up off of this couch."
She likes long hair, long lashes and pouty mouths. She likes nice outfits and painted nails, and effort. Sometimes it's the effort that really does it for her. She has met no shortage of pretty boys in Burbank. She met many more in Seoul.
