I bring you a few tracks that may be a little on the hardcore side for most people to swallow but I urge you to take a trip down the violent side of electro and turn your speakers to 11 and jam the f**k out. For me, these tracks bring me to a level of hype reserved for those nights where you just want to own the town. The 4Loko trips can probably equate what these tunes can do.
Frankmuzik - Do It In The AM (feat Far East Movement) (Lazy Rich Remix)
The pop / top 40 feel of Frankmuzik's original translate very very well into this remix. Lazy Rich drops his signature sound on this track and transform it into a no doubt banger. You'll be wanting to do it in the AM after just one listen. My favorite part of the track isn't even the drop (which is fanastic regardless), it is the breakdown from 2:30 to 3:10. Sounds so good with the lyrics mashed up in thuuur.
Felix Cartal & Keatch- Lazy Bird
Feeeeeeeazzyyy. Honestly I love anything this man produces as well. A Canadian native (Vancouver represent) is well versed in the area of huge electro tunes and the latest release has been anticipated on my list for a looooong time (since he dropped it way back at Ultra 2010 in fact). It won't please everyone that's for sure but anyone with a shred of true electro love will find something to dig.
Drivepilot - Stuntman
The relatively unknown artist finally makes an appearance with the big boys within this post. I know nothing of the artist, or this release, only the fact that it is a beautifully constructed song that brings bass of immense frequencies with a high pitched outbreak every once in a while that makes it ideal for you pop-and-lockers out there. Definitely give it a full listen.
Lady GaGa - The Edge of Glory (Porter Robinson Club Remix)
The first thing I'll mention is you better play this motherfucker loud or there is no reason to listen to it at all. If you have crappy Apple headphones or laptop speakers, don't even bother. Porter Robinson is absolutely huge at the moment (considering he played a show with Skrillex and most people agreed that Porter was the most unreal part of the night). His remix of Lady GaGa hits so damn hard that the bass will literally shake your rib cage and unsettle your internal organs.
Far Too Loud - We Want To Dance We Want To Dance - Far Too Loud by Big North
It's pretty awesome when your friends know exactly the style of music you dig. My buddy hears this song on XM radio and immediately texts me to check it out because he knows I'll love it. Well dog gone it, he was right. Glitchy-ass electro house seems to be my go to these days and Far Too Loud gets it PERFECT with a song that does justice to its title.
