2. Does your OC collect anything? What do they collect?

Books! He loves books. He also speaks over 10 languages! His favorite thing is reading things in original languages. He doesn’t particularly have any money but if he did I feel like he would like stimmy toys to help with his memory.

11. What are your OC’s hobbies?

When he’s living in the little town he grew up in, Keathan really only hunted/gathered for himself, and kept the library he lived in clean. Also, read every book in the library and teach himself things. He retains all the information if it’s scholastic, but every fiction book he reads is like reading it for the very first time! There are some things he remembers though, from his very favorite books. His very favorite is Beauty and the Beast, and almost any iteration of sleeping beauty.

He would also let the villagers borrow books when they needed them, but they never come. Everyone in the town sees him as a bad omen and refers to him as ‘cursed’, and think his bad memory is contagious if you touch him. Sometimes the kids sneak away to see him and he’ll read them stories.

When he actually gets out of there and to the modern college town he starts to live in, he really just likes to explore, go to clubs, coffee shops, bookstores, etc, and just generally live life! Even though it makes him nervous, he will always help anyone who needs help especially if they don’t speak English.

He gets distracted a lot and tends to walk too far away and forget where he was going/how to get back. Luckily one of his go-to spells is he uses dust to write very important things on his arms, and he also has a sort of….infinite journal? It was given to him by his parents when he was young so he loves it very much, but it sort of records his daily activities and is a really big help with his memory loss. He’s had it for so long that he can also ask it questions about things he needs to know and it understands him most of the time.

I feel like he also goes kinda crazy with art and starts to draw and paint and sculpt in college. Sorry that was so long ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ )‧º·˚

35. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?

Well honestly I wish he could live in his memories :;(∩´﹏`∩);: his imagination is very…color based? He has problems forming coherent thoughts and following a train of thought so he tends to think in shapes/colors. His art is very abstract.

He does worry a lot, mostly about making sure he doesn’t hurt anybody because he believed the horrible people in his town and thinks he’s cursed (◍•﹏•) also he is most envious of people that can write the stories he loves to read so much, because he can’t really figure out how to write one himself.

Jealous, I'm never confident enough to wear flowy, cute clothing. What do the magic Marks do, if anything? What's his favorite sort of weather?

Ok so!! The original of this answer was lost due to the tumblr app crashing so here’s my second go at it o(╥﹏╥)o

Keathan’s marks are most important in his college version, which is also the original one! It’s the one I’ve been drawing lately. To get a little world building out of the way, it’s a semi-modern magic world, but think of ‘magic’ as being really similar to dust from RWBY! Where it’s not that humans can produce magic themselves, and more that there’s this super powerful catalyst/power source.

Dust is highly valuable and is used in lots of items. Note that I said items, and not people. Skipping over some tragic back story things, Keathan has LOTS of dust! He had to live by himself at a young age, and is rather weak. So he used dust to basically augment his body to help him survive.

Over time, dust starts to leave the markings he has on his body, basically like dust 'channel’ scars. It only happens when you use dust A LOT on your own body, for the same repeated purpose. It’s incredibly frowned upon because dust is very valuable, and usually people use it for very selfish reasons like cheating at sports or fighting or things like that.

Another note is that Keathan, while not only having these crazy magic scars on him, is also an animalia, in a mostly human world. Even then he’s also a mixed breed animalia(Arctic hare and Arctic fox. I just choose to represent him as being really close to a fennec fox because of ear shape combinations) which is frowned upon by animalia. So people really don’t like him at first glance.

I could get into more back story but! It would be very long! And I’m sure I’ll get more questions about him later. Also his favorite weather is cloudy/snowy because it’s very quiet and serene to him (´ω｀★)
