6,800+ words for Chapter 19, and it's not done yet? Hoo boy.

I actually sat down and did a word count for each chapter of the fic so far, and it looks like 3,233 words is the average. Then again, you've got stuff like Chapter 1 being 657 words, while Chapter 18 is 7,500+ words, so I have a feeling that by the end of this thing, the last chapter might be clocking in at 9,000 words or so.

Hoo boy.

Also, in other news, has any other fic writer noticed a big drop on the number of comments you've been getting? I mean, yeah, I write Dwalin/Ori, and it's not as popular as Bagginshield, but I still get about 5-6 comments per chapter? Only now, I had two?

Is school that scary this year? O_O

Sometimes I wonder why I put up with all the shit that happens in life, and then I remember that every so often, awesome stuff happens, and it'd be a real shame if I wasn't around to experience it.  Keep on chugging.
