Tavember Day #2 is Lover I don't have direct shipping names for any of the pairings, but something that could perhaps be called a working title? Especially as I'm trying to write a few little things under these names. But I have no idea how to write almost whole books....and I am slow!!

Lae'zel likes to call him My Dragon, My Silver, Scale-Boy or even Old Man. A'amon would call her My Fury or My Queen. But he also likes to use the simple, affectionate names like Darling, Love, Dearest. And in some situations Mistress.

Halsin uses the usual terms of endearment such as My Love, My Heart or Darling. But he also likes to use Little Wolf, My Wolf or My Ranger. And very rarely Honey pot. Tronoth doesn't use many pet names, but he likes to call Halsin Big Bear or Honey Bear.

Dederich and Gale

I think Gale, as well as Dederich, have a wide arsenal of pet names for each other. Dederich in particular almost always has a different pet name for his Gale. But there are a few that always come back. For example, Dederich likes to call Gale My Apple or Apple Mine, My Volley, My Tempest. And Gale often uses My Rose, My Spark or Sweetheart.

Oh dear…I tagged Tronoth as Githyanki in the WiP Image.DX

He is actually a Githzerai. A fairly unsuccessful Githzerai… He has always had a desire to spend time with nature, which is why he doesn't have much of the meditative abilities that the Githzerai actually possess. To achieve this, he has developed exceptional bow skills. For a while he was in an outpost in the Underdark until a small war broke out between drow houses nearby, which is why the outpost was abandoned. As this small battle raged between the drow houses, he came across an injured bear who was unusually tame in allowing himself to be helped. A few years later, he encountered the Githyanki from Rosymorn Monastery near the mountain pass. He was injured in the fight and left behind by his group. However, he was just able to save himself. He met his current wolf companion Z'ev, who was still a puppy at the time. But she was able to allame the Druids from the Emerald Grove, who helped him with Halsin's approval. (Anyone who knows Halsin's story can probably guess what happened here. But Tronoth himself actually has no idea about it. And yet he still fell for the Druid! But his quiet manner makes it impossible for him to confess so easily!)

I've never really given it much thought, but I'll try!

A'amonduth would have a dome-shaped tent covered with rather unnecessarily colorful fabric. A small canopy would be stretched over the entrance. If you tried to look inside, you could see that he seems to use the rather round shape of the tent to hang various things, such as herbs, work materials and tools he needs for alchemical potions. His sleeping place is a simple, woven mat on which a cloth would be spread, a small pillow and a patchwork blanket. Inside and outside there would be a few pots, in various shapes and sizes, but relatively colorful or with striking images on them. Outside, you would probably see what his hobby is: alchemy and mixing poisons. A table with the appropriate equipment would be next to the entrance, vials would be standing around and you could always hear it bubbling. That would also be one of his idles, dealing with these devices, in addition he would read a book, summon his magical short sword and swing it around, play around with his magic and really rarely he would take out his pipe and use it. And maybe he will play something on his c-flute. Little extra would be if you remove or move any of his stuff, he would comment on it and make it look like it did before. In other words, if you moved something, he would go over there, pick it up and put it back in its intended place. And yes, he would also reach into your pocket for it! He loves his order!

Tronoth is a bit more difficult for me, because even if he were to actually join the camp, he would be more of an addition to Halsin. And only if Halsin is actively involved as a Companion. Much like Thaniel, he would be next to Halsin's tent. In fact, he has no problem spending his nights just like that. But if he had his own place, his tent would not really be dissimilar to Halsin's, a simple pointed tent with a cloth fly. There would be a small fire pit in front of the tent, as well as some fruit and vegetables. He loves to cook (though he wouldn't argue with Gale about it) and sometimes he would prepare his own food. Lots of hides would be found at his place, a few animal bones, you have to utilize everything after all. And you'd find a few bows and arrows and evidence that he makes them himself. I can imagine his wolf Z'ev lying next to the tent. His idels would be sitting on a stool checking his bow, chewing on nuts and berries (he never eats large amounts of food, so he indulges in such snacks in between), of course stroking and cuddling his wolf Z'ev, sometimes sitting behind the tent to avoid attention, but plays his lute which is resting on his lap.

Dederich would be a little surprised to be in the camp at all. But if he was, his tent might look like a small house with a window on the side. The sides would be a dark earthy green, the roof would be red and overlap the sides in a pennant shape. The entrance would also be framed in red and white curtains would block the direct view, but one side of the curtain would be drawn to the side. A large red bohemian carpet would mark its place. Books would be lying around, a tea or coffee set would be neatly placed on a wooden box, on a silk doily. He also owns alchemical equipment, but he uses it to brew coffee or make tea. A few plants would be placed around, as well as flowers. Jars, pots, teapots and a plate of cookies. His idles would be meditating, drinking coffee, reading, watering flowers and reacting nervously to the baby owlbear (idk why, but I think it would scare him a bit at first).

Day #1 is Greeting

I am a bit late, but I wanna try. I also want to share 3 of my chars (I have some more, but those are my little precious things)!

A'amonduth A'amon is a Githyanki Varsh and a Gish under Kith'rak Voss' leadership. He is around 170cm tall. Outwardly, he appears to be between 60 and 65 years old, but has managed to exist alongside Voss for several generations and centuries. He has never lost his little foolish qualities.

Besides the fact that he is a Gish, he is above all a Draconicblood Mage, specializing in poison and acid. Which benefits his work as a Varsh and his hobby as an alchemist.

How he greets someone depends on whether you are a Githyanki yourself or how well you know him:

“It’s good to see you, ally. Have you kept your edge, or shall I test it for you?”

“Peace be with you, for now. May your next steps be sharp and sure.”

“Strength and cunning be with you, old friend."

“In all the Realms, there’s no company I would rather keep. Let’s find what mischief awaits us today.”

“Orpheus willing, may our paths align as they have so often. You bring a welcome blade to the fray.”

“Greetings, traveler. Mind your path and your purpose in these halls.”

“Well met, wanderer. Step carefully, for not all ground is safe.”

“A wary welcome, for you know not whose ground you walk upon.”

“Eyes that look to the horizon yet avoid the blade—an unfamiliar sight in these halls. Who are you to tread here?”

“A stranger among us. Will you carry honor, or must I find a place for your bones? Speak.”

Tronoth Tronoth is a Githzerai Ranger with a Wolf Companion named Z'ev, who reaches Tronoth's 185cm in height at her own height. He is almost exactly 54 years old, although slightly older, as he also spent time in Limbo in his youth.

Unlike his Githzerai colleagues, he has little to no magical abilities. Accordingly, Z'ev is also just a real animal and not a creature that he can simply call, even if it might sometimes seem that way.

He has lived in the Emerald Grove for 25 years.

How and whether he greets someone depends on his mood and how his counterpart affects him. When he decides to greet someone, he sounds like this:

"May the quiet of dawn find you well."

"With Mielikki’s blessing, I hope the day brings you peace."

"I trust Z'ev’s watchful eye guided you here safely."

"In Silvanus’ name, may your path be clear and your heart light."

"The wilds have brought you here; I trust your purpose is respectful."

"Nature’s calm surrounds us, and I’d see it undisturbed. State your purpose."

"A stranger, perhaps, but the forest knows all who pass."

“Right, what is it now? Speak your piece or don’t; I’ve things to do.”

"If you’re lost, I’ll point the way. If you’re not, keep out of mine."

“Hmph. If you’re needing a guide, keep up. If not, I’ll be on my way.”

Dederich Rosebirth Dederich is a 40-year-old gith. He is around 180 cm tall. He is a Wild Magic Sorcerer based on lightning, yet he has monk traits. But more to keep his Wild Magic in check in his everyday life. He does not know if he is Githyanki or Githzerai, he was found alone and abandoned in ruins by his adoptive mother. She raised him in the forest near Waterdeep so that he might learn to use his kind of magic.

Since he was 20 years old, he has been running an alchemical coffee shop “Café Alchemica” with a colleague and friend.

Dederich always tries to be polite and friendly, even if he is met with antipathy. His greetings are as follows:

“Ah, greetings! Welcome to Café Alchemica. Might I tempt you with a blend of alchemical charm and a touch of magic?”

“Ah, esteemed guest! We’ve a blend to suit every taste, perhaps something invigorating for you?”

“A pleasure to see you! Ah, let me fetch something brewed to perfection. I promise—no lightning in this cup!”

“Oh, my, someone’s eager to chat! Well, don’t keep me in suspense—what brings you over?”

“My, someone’s come over with purpose! Well then, out with it—I’m quite keen to know!”

“Hello! Er, I must admit, you… startled me a bit there. Not that it’s—ah, unwelcome, just… unexpected.”

“Oh, um, greetings! Did you come here for the coffee or—or maybe you’d like to discuss the latest in, um, potion transmutation theory? No pressure, of course!”

“Ah, hello! I was just, um, reorganizing the inventory by elemental classification—sorry, too much? Right. Can I help you?”

“Oh dear, hello. I didn’t mean to…er, stand in your way. Is… something the matter?”

“Oh! Hello, yes, um… have I…done something? You just seem—well, here, all of a sudden…”
