I’ve been completely obsessed with the new Allah-Lahs record this last week. It’s not quite as surf-y as their previous outings. They’ve nestled into a poppier and more psychedelic sound that made for perfect long weekend listening.

Spring and summertime camping excursions are popular among families, scout troops, and other outdoorsy souls, but the fun of these trips can often be significantly “watered down” by sustained showers over the course of days or even unexpected rainstorms. If you’re an experienced camper, you know that rain doesn’t have to ruin your fun or cancel a long-awaited trip—it just has to be planned for and worked around.
I live in Texas and there is a hurricane and my sister and I decided to build a fort in our living room while we watch movies and drink homemade hot chocolate
Carbuncle
I have a carbuncle in my bikini area. It hurts like hell and I have to keep it dry so currently my privates are facing the fan. Yay.
Damp Patch
My Merlin Eiger Grand Tourer trousers failed again, as before it was the crotch stitching pulling through the waterproof inner layer. These are great trousers it is just a shame they cannot take the strain of contain me ;-)
As you would guess, I now have arrived at work looking like I did something scary on the way in an lost control of my bladder. It is not that bad, on the plus side it does not smell on the down side the water is very cold as it creeps slowly in to your trousers.
Merlin, your trousers are great, they are warm and safe feeling and keep me dry. I just think you need to add another panel across the crotch to reinforce it and mean there are no stitches in the whole gusset area.
L'Oréal Men Expert Deodorant.
While I never normally feel compelled to review products unless I have something to benefit from it, I find myself un able to stop myself when it comes to this new product I picked up the other day.
L'Oréal deodorant spray has become a new additional to my collection of male grooming paraphernalia. I was using a Mitchum roll on stick which has served me well for a number of years now. With it's basic flat green design resembling something the doctor would prescribe, it still worked really well..... In the UK. When I arrived in Singapore I was determined that nothing could beat my ultra strong Mitchum roll on. So good it could it could have solid colour packaging. Did someone say slave for packaging?
After a good couple of months of convincing myself that the deo was doing fine, the reality was that it left me feeling sticky, wet and rather uncomfortable. I had a revelation. Why not seek a new deodorant? While the Mitchum might have been ultra effective back home, it seems that it may not be the case in my new chosen destination.
So while surfing the isles of my local cold storage I came across a well designed brand of deodorant that was positioned in a way that seemed to make it look like it was on offer. The reality is that. Cold storage may have just made the pricing a bit clearer and that proved enough.
So i did the trademark thing of spraying a short burst of each so that i could determine which i preferred I'm glad I did. I was t particularly partial to the other fragrances. My current favourite is the sensitive comfort variant.
I have to say after trying it a few times it seemed that it would seem that it did nothing better than the average spray. It was one evening that I actually noticed how fragrant it was even after a whole day. That really triggered my senses into thinking how great this deo was. It had stood the test of the day and left me feeling like I could actually put my arm around my lovely missus and not feel sub conscience. So at that moment I decided to get up and highlight this product. Why should we only getting our senses into gear when something is bad.
My only gripe is the size of the can. Great for travelling, not so great regarding long term home use. They may have a larger set that they don't stock at my local, so that may not be a company fault, just a supply issue.
In summary, while it boasts 48hr protection (something I hope I never have to test), it has a pleasing packaging system and doing what it says in a fragrant manner, I'm happy with it. You may find it useful for you if you are looking at a new deodorant product.
Give it a try if you're in Singapore or maybe neighbouring countries, however if you are in UK, make sure you check out Mitchum. p>
