Broken hearts
As a mom it is my job to try my best to protect my children from hurt and pains. I kiss boo boos, I shield them from harmful food, harmful TV, but I discovered something...I cannot protect them from a broken heart. Giving our love away is a blessing. Having it rejected isn't something I have to power to prevent.
"Howdy, buckaroo." She approached him with a smile. "Your dad'll be back soon. He left with Daryl a little bit ago, but he said it wouldn't be too long. Should be back any minute now. How're you doin'?"
"Okay, I was gonna go check on Judith, She's awake so I might just sit around with her for a while..." Carl replied, smiling a little at her.
"He went with Daryl, I think. How're you feelin'?"
"Alright, I guess... Is Judith awake?" Carl asked, Looking up at her.

Hm, Where is everyone? It's quiet... I wonder if they are outside... I might as-well stay with Judith for now...But, I will go see if my dad's okay first... Now, Where is he?
