Don't overthink.✨ #Healing starts by making a decision and by taking action. Overthinking can hinder us from doing both: paralysis by analysis. After my #cancer diagnosis, I followed the doctor's advice not to consult Dr. Google so as not to get conflicting information (or too much which can breed fear). I went into my first chemotherapy session not knowing exactly what it was. I started as soon as possible. I was given a 6-month program. Short enough--a pregnancy takes longer. So I did everything I could to avoid delays. I kept myself busy so I didn't have time to think I was weak, hopeless and whatnot. Instead, in my free time I examined the possible reasons why I got cancer and I looked for ways to prevent myself from getting sick again, thus my continuous lifestyle improvements. Never had I listened more to my inner self and body, and leaned on God for strength and grace. - This reflection on my #healingjourney is inspired by an episode of 7 Good Minutes. I've always found podcasts very helpful in changing my mindset for the better. From here on, I will try to share more. #IAmAndIWill - Be well and 🎈#keepthriving! ☀️ https://www.instagram.com/p/B8U7wLaBRQL/?igshid=10tblq3z8isyf
