A lot of times, when a woman leaves a long-term relationship, the man’s first thoughts are:

“She found someone else.”

“How could she do this?”

“After all these years together?”

But what men don’t think about are all the nights she went to sleep feeling like crap because she caught him talking to other women. Or all the times he disrespected her, called her names, and promised to change, but never did.

Men don’t think about all the times she stood by him when no one else would. How she prayed to God for him to change. How she always put everyone and everything before herself. How her friends and family told her to walk away, but she stayed anyway.

No, all men can think is, “How could she do this?”

Women don’t just wake up one day and decide to leave. A man’s actions, his words, and the way he makes her feel build up over time until all of it becomes a weight she can no longer carry.

When she stops venting to you…

When she stops trying to make you see things her way…
