YES i’m laughing thinking about how many ppl i actually do talk about this and realizing that i do often just interview strangers on the weirdest shit sdl;kfj4rvasdm… but like, yes, the amount of people that i talk to who are like “the proliferation of porn is liberating and healthy and it’s weird and conservative to be opposed to it.” it’s so normalized in culture that instead of being avoided, i feel like it’s just fully and uncritically accepted… look at fifty shades of grey
i think the accusations of misogyny is coming from the misconception that wanting to protect sex workers and opposing the porn industry are somehow mutually exclusive
