I had a doctor appointment today I was assigned a Ed program. So that’s my day so far- how was everyone else??

I just wanna talk about Keiko, he was the first orca I ever met and learned about. He was in free Willy and was released as a captive orca into the wild. And I always was happy and upset about that journey of his. Keiko was captured in 1979 off the coast of Iceland as 2 years old or less. He had a great story but also sad. When he was Reino adventura in Mexico, he had grown bigger and his dorsal fin had collapsed due to him surfacing alot and low gravity. for the tissue in the fin, and he had bad skin diseases on his line point of his fluke and his pectoral fins aswell. I’m not gonna explain the full story cause I’m still getting used to writing etc. but he was played and actor whale in “free Willy” and that’s what made kids want him free. Though that couldn’t happen yet, so he was transfers to Oregon coast aquarium near Portland. And there he learned new skills and ate live and cold fish. He was in a setting of cold waters of his original life when he was in Iceland with his mother. Then after learning things etc. he was moved to a “seapen” in Iceland and he went on “walks” with his trainers in the Iceland seas. And they wanted him to find his original pod and family but that was a hard fail. Then after a few days of searching and finding. Keiko disapears and swims off to Norway as a long trip. He was found looking and approaching boats with fisherman and kids and wanting food or human attention. And alot of kids who loved free Willy and Keiko, they didn’t hesitate. Keiko then died of pneumonia after his release and washed himself up. | that’s what I could say about his story with shorting it. |

But yea, I always felt connected with Keiko and I do have some merch of him aswell. I also make art and edits of him when I can. He’s always been my 1# whale and favorite captive orca, (he still counts as a captive orca even if he was released) Keiko is such a great and beautiful name of his as his name sits on heart who filled and death. Keiko was such a pretty boy and always playful with his water toys etc. I just love Keiko sm and I wished I was alive during his time. Words can’t describe how much I love this amazing bull orca.

So.... if I made prints of these on canvas, and on postcards, they'd sell right?

...huh. never thought of that before.... Though originally I suppose he would have been trained in another language entirely? X
