The more I think about it the more I ship it

At first, I was shipping it out of jest, but the more I think about it, I think it'd be real cute if Romelle has a crush on Keith.

Shes been living without hope for a long time, knowing that her family was dead, that Lotor was a tyrant but no one would believe her. Then one day a handsome man comes out of the woods with his mom and cosmic wolf and he listens to her tale.

He listens and he's willing to help her, and he flies the ancient altean spacecraft with such confidence and excellency, giving her an experience she has never had before. He takes her outside of the colony, showing her a world she never had access to.

He's there when she saw the horrors that her people had went through, and he was there after while she was grieving. And he promises her that he'll do what he can to defeat Lotor.

Honestly, who knows how long it took for them to reach the castle. It took Keith and Krolia two years to reach the colony. Granted, the altean spacecraft was probably faster, but a lot of time probably still passed for them, considering that they were in that weird time-space galaxy. So they probably got to a point that they're comfortable with each other. I mean, Romelle kept following Krolia everywhere for the majority of the remaining season.

And she's altean. She probably heard about the legend of voltron. And to see Keith, her hero, be one of the paladins, and defeat Lotor? Come onnn, that's such a good. So yea, I'm so here for pining!Romelle.
