Last year, I didn't publish a single photo, nor did I continue the Photo of the Month series. At some point, I thought—why bother? The year passed at an incredible pace, and I found myself missing the chance to reminisce about past months by scrolling through the Monthly Photos. So, I've decided to give it another go in 2025.
Photo of January 2025 – This was taken in Tokyo, where we stayed for the New Year's holidays. It's a photo from the window of the Keio Plaza Hotel, overlooking the Shinjuku area. For some reason, being so high up feels both scary and fascinating—maybe that mix heightens the attraction. Views like this always remind me of dioramas.
I won’t go into describing the trip or Japan here; that's not the goal of the photo. Still, I hope this picture catches someone’s attention because of its colours. I call it yoghurt colour—warm and soothing.
