the wildest thing about Fallen London is how often I have to just. Pause a quest. To go off and do 79 other things. So I can continue the quest.

(Here, I'm at Knifegate for my Ambition, so I'm just. Taking a break. And I'm at Port Cecil for Evolution, but I was like "I should raise my Player of Chess for this" so I want to get into Parabola, which means grinding in my new University Lab, but I need to raise my equipment level, so that's an Expedition, but I need to grind strong-backed labor in the Underclay first.)

Let me tell you. I am SO glad that the Fallen Londen community has put together so many different guides to the game. Means that I can fall off for six months, then return and, within 24 hours, remember why the heck I'm casing in The Flit when I need to get to the Iron Republic!

I'm reading BNHA fics again (even though I haven't actually read/watched canon, lmao), and I have to wonder: do people have the right, in the justice system, to not be the target of a quirk? For example, to request to not be interviewed by the detective with Lie Detection, or not be subjected to mind reading. WHAT ARE THE LEGAL PRECEDENTS HERE

I don’t know if you have any plan to continue your lovely fanfiction “nights long by repute alone” and thats fine- i’ll still reread and love the chapters that you have up, but I wanted to thank you for writing it. I don’t have an ao3 account so I cant save it, so its been a tab I’ve kept open and revist every so often for years. I can’t usually reread things because I get bored but every time I read this I fall in love and get caught up in the plot hooks all over again.

Thank you, truly, for writing what you have and I hope you continue to write whatever brings you joy!

Words really cannot express how incredibly happy and grateful I am for your message. I've always meant to come back to "nights long by repute alone" and finish it (only two chapters! really only one!), and thanks to your ask I've finally gone ahead and gotten back into the swing of it again :)

Chapter 23 is up, and the last chapter is in the works (finally!!!!)

i gave in and re-subscribed to netflix for The Witcher, and so far it hasn’t disappointed - fun music, Henry Cavill looking good and being broody (and, so far, fairly quiet while women talk), and some cool fights.
