I wanted to thank zenzeroone ausmetall aspenexcel stargasmos and keisersnitt for being part of the livestream, i had a great time with you guys and i'll make sure i can be part of the chat during the movie for next time. and you fucks, get ready cause at 3PM (New York) 8PM (London) i'm streaming GRAVITY again and it might, again, just spiral into madness as I browse through my nudes and my personal messages.
What exactly does it mean to be a xenomorphologist?
the science of xenomorphs! i’d say it’s first of all to gather as much knowledge as possible and be able to share it, but i assume it’s also about explaining what has not been explained. it’s easy to come up with an explanation, but it has to make sense. example ; we do not know how do facehuggers paralyze humans when jumping on their face, but I assumed that their digitials, encrusted to the back of the head of the host, are blocking their nerves, keeping them from moving. Kane (in Alien) talks about a loooong dream of smothering. maybe he was actually awake this whole time, just paralyzed. this could eventually be proven wrong, it could also be something they secrete into the host’s body, making them fall asleep. but I suppose when in lack of proof, it is always good to assume. this sort of thing I guess….
What kind of music do you listen to?
Mostly soundtracks from games and movies, from Far Cry 3, Evil Dead, Lord of the Rings, Blood Dragon, Mirror’s Edge, Resident Evil to Alien, Prometheus, Moon and I won’t mention all of them. I also like songs with actual lyrics but I mostly take those in other movies and games (Grand Theft Auto has always determined what I would listen to for the next 5 years but the new one… i’m not sure. I only like 5 songs) and you? :)
