Africa Oil Corp. has report that it has completed the previously announced farmout with Maersk Olie og Gas A/S (Maersk Oil) related to the South Omo and Rift Basin Blocks in Ethiopia.
At completion of the Ethiopian farmout, Africa Oil received a payment of US$12.8 million from Maersk Oil.

Now, being non-american (that is to say I don’t live in america. In my heart I’m as american as can be) I’m in the unfortunate situation that I can not simply turn a country radio station on in my car, I have no idea what kind of commentary, what kind of adds or what kind of variety of songs and styles a country station will play but I just want to take a moment and think about it imho: which do i like better: country songs sung by men or women? To be honest, I can’t really choose. Every country artist has pretty much the same themes in their songs. Maybe the female singers’ songs are a little bit more love, family and relationship oriented and the male counterparts’ songs are more about drinking alone after a divorce etc. But at the end of the day It’s all about the red white and blue. I love my Reba, Miranda and Kacey as much as my George, Alan or Luke. For a girl far away it’s not about the inherit sexism of the business, it’s about the music and it’s heart. It’s soul. It’s all about country.
