Hi! This is my (Keith's) music blog. I'm going to post about music that I'm listening to, interested in, and probably also music that I hate.

You're going to find a lot of pop music here. Like, a lot. I think that probably 95% of the posts are going to be about pop music. So if you don't like pop music, then maybe you should try somewhere else.

Leaky Con, day 1 :)

Today has been fun :)

Got to sleep in since we registered last night, so yes, this was good. Then took my time getting up, got a shower, got sufficiently dressed in my Wolfstar shirt, blue sunnies, and my chucks and headed downstairs. I took a while wandering around, talking to fellow crazy people and eventually found myself at the LGBT meetup.

This was awesome. And amusing. Met some kick ass people and learned that apparently we gay folks have no idea how to make a proper circle. After a quick Starkid singalong, that same room shortly became the Tumblr meetup.

This was very aaawesome. Mainly because, well, there wasn't anything planned for this thing. It was literally a couple hundred kids in a kind of small room, all huddled together staring at this podium, at which Keith Kurson and somehow, myself were now behind. He started talking about some random tumblr goodness, called a few ladies pretty, posed with a Robert Pattinson doll, and it basically turned into a 'we'll say some random tag or ship or fandom and you guys scream, okay?' kind of a thing. (He's hilarious and adorable, by the way, so everyone should go follow him.) This went on for a while, (and yes, I promise I'm going to start following all you guys soon) then, the next thing I know, we're all singing the Doctor Who theme song.

After the meetup was over, I was interviewed by a lovely lady who's doing an article on tumblr and fandoms (seriously, how cool is her job?) gave out my url and grabbed a few myself, and headed out. I wandered around for a while, then eventually made my way, miraculously on time, to the vendor room just as it opened. This, however, was preceded by running into Alex Carpenter a handful of times and accidentally stepping off the elevator to see Jamie Lyn Beatty and Dylan Saunders on some random floor.

The vendor room was awesome and, surprisingly enough, I didn't buy anything. Not yet anyway. I do know a couple of things I'm getting, and no, I will not say what they are because they will be belong to a certain lady who will probably read this before she comes down (IN EIGHTEEN DAYS OHMYGOD). Anyway, I made my way out of there and landed myself a nice cushy front-of-the-line spot to the Opening Ceremonies.

The ceremony was cute and we got a nice little one-shot of Hank Green, the Warblers singing to Evanna Lynch (dressed as Katniss Everdeen), Jamie Lyn Beatty and Dylan Saunders, and of course, Alex Carpenter singing Baby One More Time to Melissa Anelli. Best part? Hank Green running into the very end of the whole thing dressed as Ten carrying a torch. Yes. Yes good.

OH and I saw John Green (;aljfaw;iejlsdfjaksdfah) and Jim Povolo and Neil Cicierega.

Now, I'm in our hotel room, resting up before dinner, the rock concert, and Maureen's Midnight Movie.

 Will sp ever be hard to obtain?   

Uh, yes.  Our plan right now is, I posted on the Subeta Facebook a couple days ago, or yesterday, about how right now we’re in the process of doing a giant overhaul of the questing system which includes the wizard quests being dropped down to 20 quests/day for normal accounts and 30 quests/day for gold accounts, which is lower than now.  But I will share a secret with you, 38 viewers; it’s very likely that the wizard won’t give out sp at all come revamp.  All of the other quests are being changed to do things like give out more sp or prizes that are actually worth doing.  Because we have quests, like the computer quests, that have had 18,000 quests done total since the site started… or since we started calculating that whereas the Wizard quests have like, millions done.  So the idea is if you want to earn as much sp as you do now from the wizard, you have to do more than just the wizard.  SO sp, will be harder to earn

 How am I doing? 

How nice!  Thank you for asking.  No one ever asks me how I’m doing… I’m doing well, doing great! 

And this is different, we’re using Google and YouTube instead of Ustream because [i]there are no ads here[/i].  (emphasis his) No 30 second ads that are in Spanish in the middle of my stream.  Which I greatly prefer to Ustream

 What is the current progress on wardrobe fixes? 

They are being worked on. We had to upgrade all of our own browsers to Firefox 14 and stuff.  Also, part of the problem is that I did a big server upgrade two days ago and it worked really well for the avatar generation thingy, less good for the wardrobe, so I’m just still looking into how that could have caused problems.

What is the reasoning behind the revamps?  How is it a beneficial, positive improvement?

Right now sp is sort of ridiculous. We have a sort of ‘internal’ bank that keeps track of how much sp we put into the system and how much sp we take out every day and currently we’re putting 5 billion sp into the system every day.  If Subeta were a government, we’d be like the government that has 5 million dollar ‘notes’  because our sp is worthless.  Every single day that we put 5 billion sp into the system it gets more and more worthless.  That’s why CSC is inflating.  It’s not that people are buying fewer CSC, because that’s not true, the problem is that sp is becoming worth a lot less compared to CSC because there’s so much sp.  So people who continue to do the same thing they did 2 years ago, only earning 10-20k a day are wildly behind those people who did 40 wizard quests a day and make millions of sp.  The idea is to sort of even it out along all of the quests and bring the crazy amount of sp we put into the system every day down.

I’m looking!  I’ve got it!

 Will there be any more events on the Omen Islands which allow you to choose to be an Islander or a Pirate?  Probably not, the Islanders are still pretty upset about how everything went down so we probably won’t be back there for a really long time.  I don’t want to turn this into a Maraqua situation where we say: “yeah! We’re going back there!’ and then 8 years later still haven’t gone back there. SO don’t look for it any time soon unless there’s some sort of natural disaster there.

 Any cool, new events coming up this year? 

Not really, the last chat I talked about how our focus this summer is to bring all of our features compounded… is like the best way I have to describe it.  Like, the quest revamp and stuff and stuff like that.  Getting everything, the core features, the way we want it to be and then we can do stuff on top of that.  So that’s our primary goal this summer.  No new events any time soon

 will there be a restock war any time soon or later this year?

We don’t really do restock wars on their own any more.  They’re  usually part of bigger events where restocking is one way to earn points for your team, so unlikely.

 Love the foxes behind you, but why are there two? 

These are Todds from Fox and the Hound and the reason there are two is because one of them is mine one is Gemma’s.  Mine’s a little derpy, it has a funny head.. Mine’s just got a dumb head, but I like him like that.

 Will shops ever have an easier way of removing mass quantities of items. 

Umm, I dunno. Probably not… I mean, we could add that… maybe.  You should ask [user=Fletch] who is our new programmer and doing stuff like that to make the site easier for everybody right now as her introduction to programming for Subeta!  You should ask her to do stuff like that!

 New colors soon? 

Probably not, we just had Nostalgic released in December and we usually do one a year at the most.  SO it is unlikely you’ll see new colors any time soon?

 Any new pets in progress?    

There are always new pets in progress, but, none that will be released any time soon.  Again, sort of like colors, I’m sure we have like 12 colors in progress, but none of them that will be released any time soon, next month or tomorrow or the month after that or any time soon.

 Where is John T Cheesecake  ?

 I have another question, will there ever be a meet up in the Southern US.  Arkansas? 

I feel Arkansas is pretty much level with South Carolina, where we are about to have a meetup… We’re there! To be honest, we don’t have any staff members in Arkansas so that’s why there hasn’t been a meetup in Arkansas.  If Staff Members come forward and want to have one in Arkansas, then we will try and have one in Arkansas.

 Meetup within driving distance of Nashville? 

You guys can ask [user=Amber] on site to do one in Nashville.  She goes to school in the mountains of NC in the middle of nowhere so it’s not too much of a drive from there to Nashville so maybe you can have one in Nashville during the school year!  I dunno!

 Will the Krypts come back soon? 

I hope so, maybe?

All of you users who are asking for meetups in a town, we have meetups where there are staff members.  So, we aren’t going to have them way outside where we are because we don’t have a bus traveling America to have meetups and stuff.  Nor do we have them in Argentina.  Unfortunately, they are specifically where staff members are.   So I’m going to be in Chicago and then I’m going to be in a few other places so we’re going to try and have them there and other staff members are doing them.  SO it’s just us trying to do that sort of thing where we are?

  Any new games coming up? 

Our focus right now is trying to get those games that came out during survival plot added as new games.  Maybe some new games here and there.  We just are finishing redoing Spectrail, I’m not sure if that’s done? But we’re trying to redo our flash games into HTML5 because it’s a much better platform and will be easier for us to edit in the future.

 Are there going to be Maleria/Shinwa/etc revamps soon? 

Revamps as in what: quests?  In the case of Maleria? Yes, Shinwa, no.  She’ll do the same exact thing.

 When will the new mini mods be chosen? 

I have no idea.  I don’t do that

 Will you be letting other people promote their YouTube videos on Subeta? 

With the whole YouTube promotion thing we ran into a problem where A.) We didn’t hit the target numbers we had initially made with our select limited partners and B.) we found out that the embed didn’t allow us to track the numbers of people watching those videos and it doesn’t add up to the number of views which for anyone who is wanting us to advertise them would want that to happen.  SO we ran into a roadblock with that and it may not go forward in the way that we wanted it to.

 What is my favorite subeta pet species and why? 

That would be the Kumos because it was the first pet and it has a special place in my heart.

 Hey Keith, one time during a Keith Answers you showed us a real life plushie of a FEli.  Are those going to be available for purchase any time soon? 

Umm, I don’t know. We haven’t really enjoyed our attempts at real life selling of things.  It’s really difficult and while it makes me excited that you guys like our stuff so much that you want to buy it in real life, maybe we’ll set up like a bread bubble shop or something and you can buy some t-shirts.

 Thanks for doing such a great job with your games.  What was your favorite thing to do on a site?  What are you most proud of? 

I don’t play subeta.  It’s really hard for me to play Subeta because I program most of it and know where everything is and what everything does and know how to get around things and not only that but no one would ever take me seriously as a player.  Like, I can just give myself anything so I don’t actually play the site, but yeah… so, uh.  The thing I’m most proud of is the whole site, I’m really proud of it all.

NO.  Café press is DUMB and their quality is cheap, that’s why we’d go with bread bubble.  They print on good t-shirts!  A little more expensive, but not crap.

 You’re never going to get rid of Subeta, right?  We love it and we hope it stays around for a long time. 

No.  If I was going to get rid of it, I would have done that by now.  I have no intention of doing that, I really enjoy doing this and I enjoy all of you people and I have really specifically been enjoying the meetups. It’s really fun and exciting to meet people who play subeta and just sit there and talk with them for like two hours.  It’s really fun.

 Better way of messaging across the entire site? 

We played with this little instant messenger bar that went across the bottom of the screen but we’re still working on that in the back ground.  I put it up and then eight hours after that it crashed the site.  There’s some sort of memory leak that is really awful so… It’s not like our script, we just sort of bought it and put it up so I need to look through it line by line of this person’s awful code and figure out what’s wrong?  So maybe? Someday?

 What’s the coolest animal on the site in your opinion?   

I’ve already said. It is the Kumos.  That is my favorite pet.  The kumos….

 Anymore CW updates any time soon? 

Uhhh, we have some stuff in the pipeline at the moment, but it is not our primary focus right now.  We have a special forum only for people who have made Custom Wearables, so those of you who can’t see that forum, you’re in the outside club, so we’re trying to hear from them stuff that they want from us and how we can go forward making it easier for the creators as well as you the purchasers.

I really like Nostalgic

I went to Finland and it was mostly nice.  There was one lady though, we met her and she swore at us.  So there are also lots of bugs there.

Um.  I’m trying to think of things we’re working on, we’re working on a lot of different things…

 Is the richest user really 30 billion strong?  What are you opinions on how someone obtains thing kind of bank? 

If that’s the user I’m thinking of we probably froze them for cheating a few times.  People are just really dedicated to subeta and they’re really clever and know how to game a system so that’s what’s they’ve done and they have 33 billion sp.  That’s why we want to make sp harder to get. 

 Are the Delish Bask and Revel hairs going to be redeemable soon? 

Maybe? I put it on the list because of the board that Thomas made so that is going to happen at some point. 

 Tiles and gardens revamped soon? 

We are working on a gardens revamp, I talked to you about that last time, that is on the backburner for now.  We ran into a problem with isometric art, we don’t have anyone on staff who  is necessarily a professional at that and so then we completely switched styles to something different and so we’re dealing with the repercussions. 

 But, in turn, will items be cheaper in the main shops? 

Probably not, because everyone’s, because there are people with 31.4  billion points.  SO items probably won’t be cheaper.  Items are really cheap now to begin with.  P{probably not.

Nope!  The old coins won’t get used again, that’s why they are old coins.  They dropped to being worth absolutely nothing and so when we released the coin machine, instead of having everyone run in an use their old coins and devalue everything very quickly we decided to just make new coins!  It worked out really well, we like it, a lot! 

 Are you planning on keeping the custom wearable feature? 

Yes the CW feature is not going anywhere.  I have people who keep saying it is causing so many problems but to be honest it has worked out way better than we anticipated it working.  There are people who have significant problems with it and people who love it on the other end of the spectrum but it worked out way better than we anticipated.  We really like it.

 I really like the hazel line but I am a purely sp user, are my dreams unrealizable since all of the items are in the millions? 

No!  It’s really easy for people to earn, I mean, there are people who earn millions of sp every single day.  GO to the forums and say: hey, how do you guys do that? And then, copy them! Until the quests are revamped and you can’t do that anymore.  C: 

I felt like the new game, Matlal’s Jewels, gives out a ton of SP.   Like 20k per play or something like that.  Ridiculous

I’m not going to answer that question, MousyBeeb (Are you ever going to fix your signature that says ping programmers, because it's wrong.)

 Will there be more rewards for fragging in the future? 

 Actually, our admin [user=amber] is going through all of the items on site that have been retired from past holidays and stuff and we are making a giant list of things that we can put into the crystal shop.  So yes, the crystal shop will probably have more cool things soon.

 Is there any thought being put into raising token prices? 

No, because when we lower the amount of tokens you can get in a day and also make it so there’s no sp prize,  token will increase in value, making it more expensive to vend.  We don’t’ have to increase the number of tokens if we increase their value. 

 Have you done any big fixes for the site crashing?  It seems to be a big complaint. 

I don’t know when the last time the site crashed was… That night when Rackspace took down our servers and just vanished for a night… but before that, can anyone name the last big crash? 

 There are CWs in the Cash Shop that look exactly like other companies’ copyrighted characters, I.e. digimon.    

If there is a legitimate copyright complaint, file a ticket but we extensively moderate the queue to make sure that doesn’t happen.  There is a required six changes so that is how much copy right law requires and a lot of it is from changes in format.  Legitimately they probably aren’t breaking copyright, but if you feel they are too similar, make a ticket and we will handle it on our end.

Oh, there was a crash in February with the DDOS attack… that was awful.  But, we are now protected against that, yay!

 As a new user I am glad to see that Subeta is very well cared for and loved by its owner.

Awww, I love that camel thing!  (laughing)  TO be fair, we should add a warning to that.  New users don’t know what that does.  They weren’t around when we added those to the site so it’s likely that we probably will add a warning to that in the future.  Other filled things of water, watch out for!  They do the exact same thing.

 How about during pandemic? 

Did the site crash then?  I don’t know.

 When will you do another meetup in San Francisco? 

I don’t currently live in San Francisco.  Not any time soon.  I don’t plan on being back in the bay area living there until next year… In like March or April or May, so Next year!  March, April or May I will probably be doing a meetup in San Francisco!

What?  What FBI thing?  I unno what you’re talking about. 

 Why is the word expre ssion banned? 

That’s part of our old old filter.  It’s a JavaScript thing attack that uses the word expression in IE 5 and 6 and it can steal your cookies, so unlike Neopets which blatantly allows cookie grabbing, we have done what we can to block it.

The FBI released a floodwall virus that effected- wait, what? I don’t know what you are talking about.  A couple weeks ago the FBI turned off servers for a virus that they had counteracted servers that the virus had used.  It was like, 3 years ago, that this virus was big and earlier in the month they actually turned off those servers after warning those users.  Is that what you were talking about? 

 Any plans to sort your armory better? 

Yes!  We have plans for that to happen at some point.

 is there any way to add a 24 hour expiration alert to Gas 

Yes, and we should have that.  We should have like a 5 day notice…  as like the standard…  in businesses

Well, I am not currently in America, I do not see the American news where those things are reported.

 So last meetup you mentioned revamping cults and possibly changing their names, any updates? 

I talk about revamping cults a lot.  For a very long time.  We have no updates on the name change or the status of the code that they are in.  I don’t want to say tomorrow or next week or next month or December and then have it roll around and everyone murder me because there are no new cults.

 What makes an inactive account? 

Logging in.  So if you have an inactive account and you log in, they become active.  Woohoo!

 Why is the mystery box so mean?  I’ve never been so ripped off by it. 

Right now, the mystery box takes stuff from the holiday shop and  very few retired items from it.  And, since there are no holidays going on right now,  the only holiday items stocking are like cards and wrapping paper so those are all you’ll get.  I would suggest waiting until an event to use the mystery box.

 DO you have any news on the BC opponent revamp? 

I have no news on the BC opponent revamp as I have no hands in that.  [user=Purge] and [user=Cranberry]  are the people to ask about that

 Why is stealth mode the standard setting for an account? 

I think I changed that a while ago to make it to where it’s not.  It was brought up at one of the meetups and I am pretty sure I went home and changed it to where it’s not.  I’m pretty sure I changed it. 

PoeticEnigma, all you missed is me saying we have no specific deadline for the cults or any news to report on them. Per usual.

 Can we have some events during the summer?  It’s kind of boring during the summer with nothing going on right now. 

Like I said in my last chat and earlier in this one, our focus this summer is to make everything… tighter?  Like I talked about with the revamp of the quests and getting games from pandemic added to the site and stuff like that.  Those are our focuses because those are our core things and they last all year long whereas generally a summer event would be like, 2 weeks long.  And then, it’s gone.  Then people are complaining about being bored until Morostide.

We have a referral revamp set for some time soon we just have to get prizes drawn for it.

 How about a site wide Human Avatar Contest? 

We’ve done them in the past and really like them, we just need to add a couple changes.  Maybe we’ll have one this Morostide for a  costume contest.

 I remember when I first joined there was a gallery, a place for me to put my art.  Was it deleted?  I don’t

 remember it ever working properly. 

OSR: Art Gallery!

K: Yes!  The art gallery was crap! 

OSR: Really bad!

K: Yes, there was an art gallery but we deleted it because like I was talking about before, our ‘core features’ did not include an art gallery.  So we are continuing to get rid of things, like that and the journals, for example, we didn’t really need to be in journaling business.

  Does the free shop ever restock? 

If the free shop is going to restock, there will be a news post about it.  The free shop is how we do giveaways.  I wouldn’t sit there anytime other than when it has been posted in the news that the free shop is restocking.

 Is there a chart for elemental strengths and weaknesses in the battle coliseum?   

There is none of that.  This is not Pokemon.  There are no elemental strengths or weaknesses.  However, if that is a system that you want, I suggest going to Neurogalaxy!  They have an excellent strengths/weaknesses in their battle system.  It is a great site, I promise, really really good.  Give it some time because Gemma over here recently got super addicted to it.

 Do you ever have issues on how to complete site events on the boards? 

No, if we did we would not let people post on them.

 When you make the currency quest changes, do you expect CSC to go up or down? 

I expect it to stay about the same until people realize what’s happening, then eventually go back down.

 Recycle Beast…(actual question: Will Recycle Beast Points ever become part of the new currency system where you can add/remove them from your bank?) 

That is a really good point….about getting them in the new currency system… I will go write that down.

 What’s my least favorite pet species? 

Jollin.  It’s ugly.

 When and why are the stocks going?  I love the stocks and I am able to make a profit from them every day.

What I suggest you do is go to the suggestion and ideas forum and give us some ideas for male clothing.  Because, I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a mall, but they dedicate 2/3 of floors to girl’s clothing and then half a floor to accessories and half the remaining to children and then a quarter of what’s remaining to dressing rooms and then what’s left is men’s clothing.

So there’s only so much you can do, there’s just not going to be a lot of guy items.  A.) 90% of subeta users are female and B.) even the boy users make female avatars typically.  So it’s just not going to happen.  There won’t be as many male items on site as there are female items.  I’m sorry.

There are so many hipster clothes, there is an abundance of hipster clothing on site.  If anything that guys are lacking it is hipster clothes.  As far as facial hair goes, there are a couple items on site that give facial hair and then there’s like the new wigs that do facial hair from the delish set and what you can do is wear those and then use whiteout and put whatever wig you want on top.

Probably not, more titles yes.  As part of achievements.  Custom titles, no because they’re special.  You either have defaults which make you look like a loser because you can’t get any achievements or special ones from achievements which make you look special because you have some hard to ear achievement.

 Steamwork trinkets, how do I get them? 

You get them during masquerade ball, which is in March by dancing with other users.

 Are we getting any older pet revamps like Antlephores? 

Don’t count on it.

 Any chance the Blackheart Hollow can start stocking regularly in small quantities? 

We keep an eye on the prices of those items and if we feel like they aren’t priced low enough we will.  Blackheart Hollow is supposed to be like really rare.  More rare than almost anywhere else on the site, so we want them to get to 10+million before we restock them and none of them have hit that point yet.  So…  if your price point is under 10million it’s unlikely that we want you to have BHH items.

 Any chance of new salon styles that aren’t from  Cash Shop like Delish? 

 Probably not, like I said, it’s really difficult to do the salon styles.  They require a lot of extra work so we keep to items we can dedicate time to, i.e. items we earn money from.  It’s likely that they’ll only be cash shop wigs going forward.   Unless we come up with some magical way to do it that will work for us.

 Do I create all of the pet species and then the pet artists take over? 

No.  I don’t think I’ve created a species since the Feli. So, you have me to thank for the Mallarchy.  YAY.

 What’s the restocking pattern for the BHH? 

There is no pattern.  You kind of just have to be lucky and be there at the right time or be really really obsessive.  We’re hoping for obsessive, we need more pageviews.

 Will future trivia release old items or more rare items? 

Trivias are specifically slated to release more old trivia items or new trivia items. That is pretty much all trivia is ever going to release.

 Some pets still have partial revamps.  Are they still being worked on? 

That’s a work in progress always.

 Did you ever find out what was happening to the site in January and February when we went offline? 

Yes, we were being attacked by assholes on the internet.  A DDOS, a distributed denial of service attack meant that people were taking their servers and their computers on around the world and sending packets of information to Subeta.  SO many Packets that servers went  DDDDDD8  (He seriously went like that, check 47:38 for the facial expression) and couldn’t handle them and it made them crash.  So we had to go to a company and say: hey, can you filter all of our traffic for us because we cannot do that without our servers exploding.  And that is why that happened.  And that caused additional issues, etc.  Just, not a good time for us.

 Can you make more pets for nostalgic? 

I mean, that might happen throughout the year, but it’s pretty much a December color.

The API does work, sort of.  The server on which the API is hosted on is currently having some issues, so that is currently a problem.  The API works, the server it’s on right now, doesn’t.  That’ is my goal to finish tonight, once I’m done with this is to fix that and then continue working on the quest revamp.

  What about the current lag that is dragging through Subeta? 

The problem is that people talk about this lag and I am on like the worst internet ever here and I don’t get any of the lag.  The site never lags for me and unfortunately as a programmer or sys admin it’s hard for me to diagnose a problem I can’t actually see.

 Put it (referring to the API?) on a different server 

Unfortunately the API isn’t a big enough feature of Subeta, aka it isn’t at all, because one site currently uses it for us to put it on a separate server or spin up a separate server for it so it is on the dev server and the dev server will be fixed and then the API will work.  That is the series of events that will happen.

 Any chance to fix the item directory?  The graphs are all broken. 

Uh I do not know why they are broken but I will take a look into fixing that.

The experiments will never allowed to be colored.

WE looked into that but it’s  really expensive for us to do so probably not.

SBQ sets?  Probably not any time in the near future.

  And the small CWs is something we’ve been talking about for a while. I have nothing to say about it though.  It does make sense to pay less for a ring or something like that than a t-shirt but we don’t have a system in place to do anything about that now.

What gave me the idea to create subeta?

Well, I was on a site, Neopets, and I thought: I can do this better.  And then, SUBETA. :D

I think I need to see Keith in eyeliner. 

Keith is actually wearing eyeliner right now.  It’s only on my top lid and it’s a very little bit to make my eyes look better.  Otherwise they just look like black pits of despair.

That would cut into our Gold Account profits and we can’t really afford that.

 Will all of those hardcore pirate fans ever get the chance of becoming a pirate on Subeta if they are not already? 

I’ve been toying with the idea of letting people join one team or the other because of all the people who got suckered into quitting the Islanders by throwing in Amy’s flower and we didn’t really say what it did or anything and then a whole bunch of people did it and there weren’t any Islanders anymore and that was kind of Crappy.  So I thought about going back and letting people just join one of the teams one time only if they aren’t on a team now.  But that hasn’t happened yet. 

 What is my favorite song from Marina’s new album? 

Off the US version?  She has a song called something like ‘how to be a heartbreaker’.  That’s my favorite song and it will be her new single but off the album itself is Teen idol or Sex Yeah.

You do not get banned anymore for saying Neopets on site.  You can talk about Neopets all you like, you just can’t post a link with your referral to Neopets.

 What programming would I have to learn to help out with Subeta? 

Subeta is Primarily PHP we’re moving into using a lot of JavaScript so those two things would not only help you get a job at Subeta but a job anywhere like Google or Facebook or somewhere where you’d make a lot more money and have a much better job.

 What is your side of the new battle change with tiers.  Many people are unhappy. 

It was an amazing change.  It was a great change and one that I am very very happy about.  People that are unhappy with it are people who have super kinds of items and super weak pets and used those super good weapons to beat super hard opponents.  Or people who didn’t even have super weapons, but had super rich friends  who they borrowed those weapons from every time an event came around and now they actually have to get their own weapons this time around.  Those aren’t the people we pay attention to when we pushed battle updates because those people are going to complain about any battle update we do. 

I do like Dr Who, I am very excited that it is starting up again in August.

 will there be a way to earn more pirate points? 

No there will not be a way to earn more pirate points.

There will just be a way for people who left their team or teams to join a new team so they can be pirate people on their profiles or whatever.   

 Will there ever be a limit to how many CWs that will be made? 

No because then what happens when that limit gets hit, people are like oh, I commissioned this item!.  There really isn’t a limit, we really like the originality the CWs bring and to be honest it can only last for so long without running out of ideas and we anticipate a decline in CWs at some point.

 Is the enchanted School apple going to turn into a set like the foil wrapped hamburger? 

I am not sure.

 What’s my favorite site event that Subeta has ever held? 

That’s tough! I think the first pandemic is my favorite that we’ve ever had.  It was so unexpected and people didn’t know what was going on and it was really fun to do.  The first Pirate/islander event was great too.  The art was nice, the explanation of each step that [user=bean] did was really some of my favorite art on the entire site.

 Epicon wars really gone for good? 

Probably, there’s not one this summer and I don’t know about next summer.  It’s not something we’re really interested in doing again.  It was really fun though, once.

 How was Major Drill chosen for CSC?  Many people  won 3 times and others never won and worked for it every day. 

My problem with this is that it is pretty much not true.  People who won three times were answering every singles day the entire time and not only that but on the second and third times were a few weeks after it started where literally tens of people were joining versus hundreds to thousands the first few days and the last day.  They were in a very small pool of people trying to win.  I don’t have any problem with those people winning.

There will probably never be any new Keith themed items because they were creepy.

There will be no nose wearables ever ever ever

And probably no to the face layer stuff, we have to limit it so we don’t have people wearing  a ton of stuff on the Has.  I know that right now you can wear like 800 items with 3 items in every layer if you’re a GA user.  Our system does have a limit to the number of items you can wear on an HA at any one time.   We don’t want to facilitate people having a whole BUNCH of options.
