rewatching AVPM is 1) happening and 2) reminding me of Leaky (as it does)

at the end of AVPSY, the girl in the row in front of me and I were both sobbing our faces off, and as we were waiting to file out of the room, we made eye contact and looked at each other like “... yeah you need a hug” and we just hugged

I didn’t know her, we never told each other our names, and I’m pretty sure we didn’t speak the same language

this is one of my favorite fandom memories

so in preparation for Leaky Orlando this year, I've been feverishly marathoning the Potter Musicals.  I've finished both AVPM and AVPS, and I'm about to start AVPSY, which I saw live at Leakycon 2012 and it is one of my best memories.  I haven't seen it since because I don't want to alter the memory.  It's something that keeps me going when I just want to give up.

Shut up, I'm not crying, you're crying.

Man, I'm glad I'm getting back to Hogwarts.  I've missed it. :')
