Keith said something a little while back about how Cole’s eyes represented how they viewed themself and who they were, and that Clementine’s eyes represented who they wanted to be. And what I love most is how Clementine (representing the person they wanted to be) shows so much love and affection to Cole (the person they are.) it’s very poetic.
