Honestly, Keith was still trying to get over the fact that his dad was alive and sitting in front of him. His protective instincts told him to lash out, but most of him was longing to reconnect with him.

His dad had missed out on so many years of his life.

Where did he even want to start?

"Uh... how far back do you want me to go?" he asked awkwardly. "I'm twenty-three now and I lived without you since I was seven. That's a lot of years..."

Keith instinctively leaned back against Lance in return, wrapping an arm around his partner's waist.

"Nebulas...?" The compliment sent his heart racing, and rather predictably, heat rose to his cheeks. "Geez, Lance... that's--"

He bit back the urge to call it "gay." Of course, it was. It just didn't feel appropriate in the moment.

"That's... really nice of you to say," he finished instead. "No one's ever complimented my eyes like that before."

The small gesture made his entire face feel hot. "H-hey--!" Allura looking absolutely adorable as hell wasn't helping matters either.

Well, he definitely wasn't gonna let her get away with it either. He stepped forward, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her snug against him.

He then promptly leaned in and ignited a passionate kiss. He didn't draw away until they were both flushed and out of breath. He pressed their foreheads together and snorted softly. "You have no right being that cute..."

Keith made the mistake of looking in Lance's direction when he heard that sing-song tone. He should've known better by now.

Keith yelped when he was pelted in the face. He quickly shook his head to rid himself of the snow before throwing his boyfriend an incredulous glare.

"LANCE--! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU--!"

Of course, this meant war. He dropped down and scooped up a handful of snow and formed it into a snowball before lobbing it back at Lance's head.

His mind probably wasn't in the best place at the time, but no one needed to know about that. He certainly wasn't gonna divulge those details.
