A band becomes more admirable when one of its members drops out of school in order to pursue his (or her) dreams. This is Dry the River,  the UK folk band with a punk rock attitude. Of course they played Mercury Lounge and I am only coming across them now. Oh well, better late than never. Have a listen to "Bible Belt,"  beautifully dramatic in all the right places. Irrelevant, but if you haven't yet, buy Keith Richards' Life; he talks about the perils faced along the Bible Belt with the rest of the Stones.
