Day seven: rest day at The beautiful Kekec Homestead in Trenta Valley. Relaxing, eating, drinking, sketching and watching some local ladies make idrija dumplings.
One of the most famous Slovene heroes is Kekec, a fearless shepherd and fighter for justice. His name sounds similar to the word “kakec” which means little shit, probably because he was a little shit (I say this affectionately ɔ ̮ɔ ).
