Hi Ella! I was wondering what the relationship between Seth and his stepfather is like. cuz I feel like we don't really see that much of his stepfather. Thank! P.S: I love your art its so yummy :)

Nuri and Seth were really close. Nuri became Seth’s step-father when he was around 14 but he went in fully prepared to be his parent. He knew Seth was shy and gentle boy who was deeply traumatised so wanted to be a comfort to him, which he was.

Seth actually ended dying before Nuri and it broke his heart.

♥️Hearts Royal Family♥️ (Part 1)

Hey peeps!

So if any of you are unfamiliar with @arty-e ‘s AMAZING series, Cards, then WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! GO OVER AND WITNESS THE GREATNESS!!

Anyhoo, as a project for myself, I wanted to draw the five royal families of Cards in my own style! There’s so much character diversity and Ella’s style is so good at showing different characteristics, I just needed to try out these characters.

So, starting out we have the Hearts Family!

Why did Jana not gain Kellan’s last name?

A little complicated

Nobody actually recognised that Jana was Kellan’s wife even though they were married. Everyone (mostly the nobles) butted heads about it so Jana just used her old surname so she wouldn’t rock the boat anymore cause she was clearly the only adult in that whole situation. Kellan still thought of her as Jana Kroda-cor but nobody else really did

As in are the royal families related? Technically yes

Kellan’s father was a diamond prince (Jasper diamant) and his direct line is still in charge. Kellan’s aunt (opal xxi)’s family is there as well so the Cors and Diamant are still related to one another. Mahira is third cousin to Lazuli and Rubis through Jasper and Opal xxi
