Thoughts on Anette? And have you ever read her book?
I like Anette a lot even if I'm very Kim biased when it comes to Keith's partners, hah!
I didn't read her book though (didn't even read my Keith book yet because I've been trying to prepare myself mentally for it since I read like the preface and I was already getting dumb emotional) so I don't really know the more specific aspects of their relationship, just the very surface level stuff.
As with every Keith relationship, it could've been WAY better but I try not to think too hard about that otherwise I'll just get sad.
Like, I could be way off, but I've always held this belief that Keith attempted to find someone else hoping to get over Kim (which I think he never truly did, sadly) and while I don't think Anette was like, a substitute for Kim (pretty sure he held genuine feelings for her, at least at the beginning, their relationship was pretty awful near the end of Keith's life) I believe that unconsciously Keith was trying to find someone to fill the gap Kim left.
It's always tricky talking about Keith and his partners because while he was awful, it's hard to tell how much of his behavior was him just being a dick and how much was from him being an addict and having 300 unchecked mental health issues. Sure it doesn't justify the terrible shit he did, but at least it helps me believe that he wasn't inherently a bad person, which is better than nothing.
But yeah, I like Anette a lot and I think the photos of her and Keith are absolutely great and I try to think about those instead of the bad stuff hah!
