hey guys!! i just wanted to take today as a chance to really say that i appreciate you all, especially my mutuals. i know i’ve been MIA but rotations are almost done and i have to study for the boards now, so as i’m trying to finish with school and graduate, i’m just so so so thankful you guys have been there for me and helped out, even if you think you’ve barely done anything trust me that to me it was a lot. i’m probably not gonna be posting on here as much in the future, but i’m never going to forget that you guys helped me feel less alone in the world. i learned so much about the importance of community through you guys and how willing you guys are to help in any way. i really hope the best for all of you and once i get some serious money in a year or two, please don’t hesitate to reach out for help - i know it hasn’t been easy for any of us and i will also look for more/other ways to help people once i can afford to, going to look into mutual aid resources in my area and go from there once i get situated in my career

hey y’all me again

so rotations are gonna start soon, but before i can go, i have to get some requirements out of the way but they are so expensive and our school is not willing to help and our professors didn’t want to understand that we are broke college students in the middle of a seemingly never ending pandemic

that being said, so y’all have an idea what i’m up against

- drug test $41

- background check $56

- ppd test (my insurance usually covers this)

- physical ($89 at cvs which is the only place i know of in the city i am that does it without having to go to my primary bc that’s another issue)

this doesn’t even cover having to get either a motel for 6 weeks or needing help with gas to drive 1+ hours to and from my first rotation site in may 2021 (i might have to make a post later when i have a better idea of how much i’d need)

i need to get these done after march 25, so if anyone can please help by reblogging this and/or donating (only if you can!!)
