I was just wondering, are all meet ups in Vancouver? I live in Chilliwack, so I haven't been able to coordinate time to drive down there (my parents work full time and I have a very young sibling.) If they are, is there a rule against out of Vancouver meet ups? Really I'd be willing to even go so far as host if it meant I could attend. Thank you!

There are no rules against meetups in other places! We only create most of our events in Vancouver because we don’t want to create events that none of us can attend. If you want to host an event, you’re completely welcome to!

There is Kelownastuck, as well, and they do events in Kelowna quite often, if you’re ever on that side of things! They’re like a sister group, like VanIslandstuck and such.

Vancouverstuck encompasses all of British Columbia (as well as having a few members further afield)! We do have a few offshoot groups - Vancouver Island, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Ladner, and Maple Ridge all have their own subgroups, with varying degrees of activity. All of these groups sort of fall under the Vancouverstuck umbrella, so to speak, and many if not all members of the subgroups are members of Vancouverstuck.I know there are a few Vanstucks out in Abbotsford and elsewhere in the Fraser Valley - if you are on the Facebook group, that might be a good place to seek out Vanstucks near you, and maybe even organise some kind of local meetup. -Jack

Do you know what's going on with Kelownastuck? I haven't seen much activity on their tumblr and I don't have Facebook so I'm completely in the dark about it and I don't know if they're active or not and I'm kind of friendless and was hoping I'd get to meet some people idk

They're gonna work on getting the tumblr up and running again! They usually have two meets a month, one every other weekend, so I hope that you can connect with them soon, 'cause they're a really swell bunch.

I kind of want to make a homestuck meetup where I live because I only know the small group of homestucks I'm friends with, but I don't think any of you live in Kelowna BC, or around it. Would anyone be interested in doing this over the summer maybe? That way we can make more friends and shit!

DID YOU KNOW... Although we are a BC-wide group, it is sometimes difficult to organize things in far-away places. It would be irresponsible for an admin to organize an event in a place we've never been, especially if we couldn't attend the event. BUT that does not mean that MEMBERS cannot host events everywhere and anywhere. We will advertise any event you make, as long as it follows the few rules we have when it comes to events (which are listed in the doc~). We also have some splinter groups. Many of the people in these groups are in this group as well, but as they are kidna isolated places, they find it easier to organize events within their own groups. All of them are welcome to new members, as well!
