Vancouverstuck encompasses all of British Columbia (as well as having a few members further afield)! We do have a few offshoot groups - Vancouver Island, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Ladner, and Maple Ridge all have their own subgroups, with varying degrees of activity. All of these groups sort of fall under the Vancouverstuck umbrella, so to speak, and many if not all members of the subgroups are members of Vancouverstuck.I know there are a few Vanstucks out in Abbotsford and elsewhere in the Fraser Valley - if you are on the Facebook group, that might be a good place to seek out Vanstucks near you, and maybe even organise some kind of local meetup. -Jack

Hey, Vancouverstuck! If you cosplay John, Dave, Jade, or Rose (or any versions of them), and don't mind showing off a little, you should submit a photo of your cosplay (or cosplays, if you've done more than one kid), to http://vancouverstuck.tumblr.com/submit, or email it to us at [email protected]. Please only submit one photo of each costume, and if it is a group photo, please crop it so that you are the focus. What is this for, you ask? We thought it would be cool and dandy to have a photoset of all of Vanstuck's Daves, and Roses, and everyone~ We're starting with the four kids only, for now, but watch this space for updates on who we're wanting pictures of! Not done your cosplay just yet? No worries! We'll update the photosets as needed, periodically!

DID YOU KNOW... Although we are a BC-wide group, it is sometimes difficult to organize things in far-away places. It would be irresponsible for an admin to organize an event in a place we've never been, especially if we couldn't attend the event. BUT that does not mean that MEMBERS cannot host events everywhere and anywhere. There is a doc on hosting events here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Vancouverstuck/doc/352401768174342/ and you can always ask any of the friendleaders questions and for advice, too! We will advertise any event you make, as long as it follows the few rules we have when it comes to events (which are listed in the doc~). We also have some splinter groups. Many of the people in these groups are in this group as well, but as they are kidna isolated places, they find it easier to organize events within their own groups. All of them are welcome to new members, as well! There's VanIslandstuck, which is for all of Vancouver Island, but whose home base is in Victoria. https://www.facebook.com/groups/222115897862821/ Nanaimo Homestuck is the other end of the island: https://www.facebook.com/groups/whycantiholdmashedpotatoes/ And then there's KelownaStuck, which is based in Kelowna, but I know takes people from surrounding areas as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/297546677013000/ We try to have their events in our event doc and such as well, so that those not aware of them may see that they are not so alone on their end of things, but we don't always get all of them added, so joining the groups will make sure that you don't miss any, and might make you some new friends in your area, as well~

Spring Contest!

my gothstuck kanaya cosplay at tsukino-con 2013!!

this was SO fun to wear, i'm really proud of how it turned out and i felt super pretty all day -u- i had lots of fun and got plenty of pictures. and everyone was so nice to me and slowed down so i could walk next to them in three inch heels gosh

definitely gonna wear this again sometime!! i'll upload more pictures of my other cosplays soon. super duper thank you to em for photographing and to seb for making such a fabulous and fun design!
