Kleptomaniacs

Dear Tumblr,

Kleptomania should not be celebrated. It is a legitimate disorder, for which people need help. My sympathy is with those suffering.

However, people who just steal for fun, and then brag about it, I have no sympathy for. You're just a bunch of fucking thieves. You're selfish, and you deserve to be caught and persecuted to the furthest extent allowed by the law.

I just have to say that I love that you came back out of nowhere and finished your fics after 10 years! Especially that most people in the Naruto fandom then (Livejournal era) are nowhere to be found now. I'm curious, what were you up to ? (*just a curious fan I love Uneasy Coexistence and Via Media)

Well I haven’t quite finished all of them, but when Marrow is done, I will have. Then I shall leave for the Grey Havens, like the elves fanfic authors of old... 

I wish I could say that I was up to some really cool stuff like sailing the world for 10 years or something, but I was doing Mundane Responsible Adult Things (marriage, career, house -- oh god kill me now I’m so boring) and Naruto kind of faded away. 

THEN. One day I watched The Dark Knight Rises, and decided that I hardcore shipped Bane and Selina because they’re both so sexy (and she talks about him twice during the movie -- obviously, this is basically canon). So for 8-10 months last year, I poured my heart and soul into writing -- for the first time in a LONG time. 

The result was Klepto, which is actually my favourite story of all of my stories, btw, you should go read it.

And when I finished Klepto, I had this sudden unexpected Void in my life where my waking hours weren’t spent daydreaming about dialogues and sexy scenes?? So I had to fill the Void. And, conveniently, I had these other half-finished stories from a decade ago, waiting for me to get off my ass... and so here we are.
