Las Cruxes Heads To Chicago With New Music
Love appears as the main theme across most of Las Cruxes' music, boldly, subtly, and it's thrilling to see them not shy away from the sentiment in all its forms. The band's two recent singles, "Llueve En Mis Sueños" and "El Baile Del Soldado Azul," are no exception to tanto amor.
Las Cruxes heads to the Midwest for a show at Wing's Firehouse (2501 S. Western) in Pilsen with Chicago bands Kelroy and RAI on Friday, September 10.
When I asked Yayo what "Llueve En Mis Sueños" was about, he said, "Hmmm you know it's half about losing someone you can't figure out and my kiddo."
What percentage of your songs are about love? And do you know what your next song/date will be?
We just released one Friday (Aug 13), "El baile del soldado azul." And the next single will probably drop the second week of Sept when we go play in Chicago.
And, in one way or another they are all about love. Or just being a dumbass.
